PART TEXTUAL SUMMARY
This Week with Huzoor - 3 November 2023
Ahmadis from Kosovo had the blessed chance to virtually meet with Huzoor(aba) on Sunday 29 Oct 2023. The session included a brief video tour of mission houses, gardens, prayer halls and more, followed by a session where attendees, some as young as 6 years old, asked a diverse and intriguing set of questions. Below we present a gist of just some of the questions and answers.
9 year old Tifl asked why we need to read the Qur’an?
Huzoor(aba) responded by affirming that Allah the Almighty revealed the Holy Qur'an as the ultimate source of Islamic religious law. He emphasised that the Qur'an serves as a comprehensive guide for both personal character development and the path to becoming a devout Muslim and explained that the Qur'an offers valuable insights on the various ways to genuinely worship Allah and imparts wisdom on ethical and practical life matters.
Huzoor(aba) emphasised the Holy Qur'an's focus on the significance of not just reading but comprehending its content. Mere recitation of the Arabic text without applying its teachings has no tangible value, as true benefits are only derived when one actively incorporates the lessons learned from it into their daily life.
A Lajna member, employed as a saleswoman with fixed shifts, often rushes her prayers. She sought advice from Huzoor(aba) on breaking this habit.
Huzoor(aba) explained that the working hours during her day, typically 6-7 hour shifts, may overlap with the times for about two prayers, which she sometimes offers in a hurried manner. For the prayers of Fajr, Maghrib, and Isha, or if her shifts coincide with Asr and Maghrib prayer times, there's no issue in offering those one or two prayers quickly. However, Huzoor(aba) stressed that for the remaining obligatory prayers, they should be performed with focus and diligence.
Huzoor(aba) also mentioned that the Holy Prophet(sa) had instructed Muslims to approach voluntary prayers with extra care and any shortcomings in obligatory prayers can be compensated for by offering voluntary prayers. Nevertheless, Huzoor(aba) emphasised that it's not a valid excuse to rush through all prayers simply because two of them need to be offered quickly. The other obligatory prayers should be observed with great care and excellence.
A young Tifl asked Huzoor(aba), how do you view the future condition of humanity?
This was quite a detailed answer for which one is advised to click the link on the AMA Gallery website for the complete answer. In summary, Huzoor(aba) said that: “…the future of humanity is as Allah the Almighty states that if we abide by His commandments, then He will bestow His favours upon us and remove our hardships,” But if we do not, “…we will incur loss in this life and in the hereafter.”
Huzoor(aba) said: “I have stated in many addresses, speeches and Q/A sessions that if the people of the world become obedient to Allah the Almighty, recognise him, fulfil His rights, fulfil the rights of one another, abstain from usurping the rights of others, exhibit good moral and show compassion to one another then the future is humanity is safe.” Otherwise, if this in not adhered to, “…then the future of humanity is bleak.”
Huzoor(aba) said the situation at this moment in time does not look good as: “Everyone is committing injustices against one another and a sense of egotism and selfishness is present everywhere.”
With regard to the current situation of the world, Huzoor(aba) said: “If this persists, blocs will widen, and, as I have warned previously, the situation will evolve into a Third World War, with grave consequences.”
A Lajna member enquired about how we can instil the habit of performing namaz in children.
Huzoor(aba) responded by highlighting that when adults pray fervently in front of their children, it serves as a positive example for the younger generation, encouraging them to do the same. Furthermore, individuals should also include their children in their prayers, asking Allah to guide them on the righteous path, to strengthen their dedication to prayer and to embed virtuous values. It is important to note that the Holy Prophet (sa) emphasised that a mother's supplications for her child are truly effective and answered.
Ajan Zeqiraj aged 6, asked if we can hug Allah the Almighty?
Huzoor(aba) replied:“You cannot hug Allah the Almighty since He does not possess a physical body.” Huzoor(aba) continued by saying that Allah does choose to manifest Himself in a manner of His own choosing to His chosen ones and that one should pray that may Allah shroud us in His mercy.
A young Lajna asked Huzoor(aba) about the key factors to consider in order to achieve success in business.
Huzoor(aba) emphasised that a believer should firstly assess how they can advance in their faith and strengthen their bond with Allah the result of which Allah says because of their righteousness, Allah “…will provide for them through such means that a person cannot even comprehend..”
Huzoor(aba) also mentioned about the Companions of the Holy Prophet(sa) who engaged in business and achieved remarkable success only because they never abandoned Allah, prayed on time, offered voluntary and Tahujjad prayers, gave alms and were charitable. The Companions objective was to attain the pleasure of Allah. Huzoor(aba) said: “The Promised Messiah(as) has written that their condition was that even if they were physically working with their hands, their hearts were always inclined towards Allah the Almighty.”
Huzoor(aba) also stressed the importance of giving a portion of one's income in the path of Allah, supporting chanda and sadaqah, providing for those in need and in return, Allah showers His blessings upon their earnings. Moreover, it is crucial for individuals to exert dedicated and sincere efforts in their endeavours.
Huzoor(aba) was asked about the appropriate response or action one should take towards an unruly child to make them understand
Huzoor(aba) replied that if a child has misbehaved for the first time, it is best not to punish them immediately as it is best to advise and teach them with kindness and compassion. Huzoor(aba) stated that the Promised Messiah(as) explained “…instead of scolding or looking for ways to punish children, if a person spent the same energy praying for them, then their Tarbiyyat would be good.” Also, Huzoor(aba) said that parents should set a good example to their children by teaching them good morals and the difference between right and wrong which will prevent children from committing wrongs in the first place.
After the questions, a young person got up and said to Huzoor(aba): “Today is a very blessed day for us. We have the utmost and respect for you in our hearts and this is a great moment for our country as well."
Huzoor(aba) said that Allah has bestowed His grace upon them enabling Kosovans to accept the true Islam, Ahmadiyyat and it is now their duty to spread this teaching in their country. Huzoor(aba) continued by saying they should focus their attention on prayers, increase their spiritual knowledge and elevate their spiritual well-being.
“May Allah enable a large number of Kosovans to join the fold of Ahmadiyyat,” said Huzoor(aba)

PART SUMMARY
This Week with Huzoor - 10 November 2023
On the 5th of November 2023, Ahmadis from Albania had the blessed opportunity to engage in a virtual meeting with Huzoor(aba). The session featured a brief video highlighting the Jama’at in Albania, showcasing scenes from the Baitul Awwal Mosque in the country. Attendees had the chance to pose questions to Huzoor(aba) and below is a summary of some of the questions and answers.
Before delving into the questions, it is important to recall Huzoor's instructions from his Friday Sermon on October 27, 2023 where he mentioned the progression of the Hamas-Israeli war and the enacted policies that could potentially lead to a global conflict. Huzoor(aba) said: “…Ahmadis must especially focus on prayers. They should not become relaxed. At least one prostration a day should be dedicated to praying for this situation.”
We start the summary of ‘This week with Huzoor’ with the last question from this mulaqat which is related to the above war & contains another important instruction from Huzoor(aba).
A Lajna member asked if it was permissible to participate in a peaceful protest when children, women and innocent people are being killed in Palestine, Ukraine, or even Israel.
“Yes, you can certainly participate,” said Huzoor(aba), but cautioned that sometimes those who organise such protests may include fanatics who turn peaceful protests into extremist ones where property is damaged, items set on fire, etc. Huzoor(aba) explained that if the protest is peaceful, then one may participate.
Nevertheless, Huzoor(aba) stated that: “Ahmadis should write letters to the ambassadors of various countries, write to your politicians for them to raise their voice for Palestinians or innocent people around the world who are being oppressed to the extreme.” This, said Huzoor(aba) is also a form of silent protest.
Sali Beja Sahib asked Huzoor(aba) that many people believe they have been cursed by Black Magic. What should we say to them?
Huzoor’s(aba) answer was quite detailed but in summary said that these are just figments of one’s imagination & some people become easily influenced by it. “It is a psychological phenomenon that if someone is repeatedly told something, they believe it to be true”.
Huzoor(aba) further stated black magic seems to affect Muslims but not Ahmadi Muslims. “If the other Muslims also have a firm faith & they believe that Allah the Almighty is All-Powerful, then they would also not be affected by such things.” Huzoor(aba) continued by saying that to counter such superstitious thinking, one should recite istighfar (seeking forgiveness) and recite حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِٱللَّٰهِ ٱلْعَلِيِّ ٱلْعَظِيمِ (There is no power, nor might, save in Allah, Most High, Most Great).
In addition, Huzoor(aba) said one should recite the last three chapters of the Holy Qur’an so that Allah can protect one from envy and the evil influence of Satan. Huzoor(aba), in fact went on to say that black magic does not exist but large businesses have been set up out of this whereby people are told magic spells can be dispelled if they do certain things and “…by going to such and such so-called saints or pious elder and that he will remove the black magic,” and then charge them for their services! “In reality, such things do not exist for a true believer and that in reality, such practices cannot harm individuals who have unwavering faith in Allah.”
Huzoor(aba) continued by saying these superstitions are instilled in individuals during their youth, leaving a lasting psychological imprint that allows these ideas to endure into adulthood. “This is the reason we do not subscribe to such beliefs.” Huzoor(aba) in a humorous way then said: “If anyone wants to try, then can do magic on me and if it works, then I will accept it!”
Jafar Qudsi, a convert to Islam Ahmadiyyat since 2020, asked how does one prevent becoming overwhelmed by hearing bad news to challenging circumstances?
Huzoor(aba) advised that one should pray to Allah, asking Him to strengthen their faith and protect them from all evil. once again Huzoor(aba) said to recite حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِٱللَّٰهِ ٱلْعَلِيِّ ٱلْعَظِيمِ (There is no power, nor might, save in Allah, Most High, Most Great) as this can act as a cure.
Huzoor(aba) also said to pray to Allah during prostration that He removes your worries & restlessness. Huzoor(aba) then mentioned a prayer by the Holy Prophet(sa) which should also be said: “May Allah the Almighty alleviate this worry of mine and grant me strength.” Regular recitation of Durood Sharif and istighfar to remove anxieties was also mentioned by Huzoor(aba).
“...there are always ups and down in a person’s life. One hears good news and bad news. Upon hearing good news, one should express gratitude to Allah the Almighty. And upon hearing bad news, one should pray and give sadaqah.” Huzoor(aba) particularly emphasised the giving of Sadaqah because by doing so, Allah removes calamities, hardships and worries. So prayers and Sadaqah are something we must do said Huzoor(aba).
Mariglen Beja Sahib asked if Muslims will attain both spiritual and political power simultaneously in the future or if these two are distinct issues.
Huzoor(aba) explained that the Messiah’s arrival was aimed at initiating a spiritual revival & it would also have an impact on worldly governments and leaders. The revelation by the Promised Messiah(as) for the unity of all Muslims under one religion is integral to this purpose. Upon achieving this unity, a spiritual reawakening is anticipated, fostering positive relations with governments worldwide. Despite the persistence of distinct worldly governments, there will be a singular spiritual leader—the Promised Messiah(as) & Mahdi, as foretold by the Holy Prophet(sa).
Addressing misconceptions about the Mahdi, Huzoor(aba) highlighted the futility of expecting a forceful, blood-thirsty leader & asked rhetorically, what could be accomplished using the sword?
Referring to ongoing tensions in the Holy Land, Huzoor(aba) noted the unfulfilled unity among Muslims who are awaiting the Mahdi’s assistance. Importantly, Huzoor(aba) emphasised that the Mahdi, in accordance with the prophecy of the Holy Prophet(sa), is destined to bring about peace.
Why is there an emphasis on reading Sura al-Kahf on Friday’s?
Huzoor(aba) mentioned that the Holy Prophet(sa) also emphasised reading the first and last 10 verses of this chapter daily. In these verses, we find teachings about the establishment of monotheism, the rejection of the trinity, the belief that God is One, the lofty status of the Holy Prophet(sa) and not to become immersed in worldly endeavours.
A question was asked by a 12-year-old that why can we not read namaz behind non-Ahmadi’s?
Huzoor(aba) explained at the time of the Promised Messiah(as), some people used to pray behind non-Ahmadis. However, when the Promised Messiah(as) discovered that certain non-Ahmadi clerics had deemed it a sin to pray behind Ahmadis and subsequently prohibited it, he advised Ahmadis to reciprocate by refraining from praying behind them?
Huzoor(aba) further stated: “In fact, we Ahmadis have more reason to abstain from offering our prayers behind them because Ahmadis have accepted that very Imam of the Age who had been foretold by the Holy Prophet(sa)…” while they had rejected the Imam sent by Allah.
Huzoor(aba) was asked what strategy should be adopted to encourage more people, especially the youth to attend the mosque?
Huzoor(aba) emphasised that contemporary society often lacks a focus on spirituality or Allah. Consequently, there is a need to actively work towards bringing people closer to Allah & nurturing a personal connection with Him. To achieve this, those who embraced Ahmadiyyat a decade or more ago should share their experiences and instances of answered prayers with the younger generation. Narrating historical events related to Islam Ahmadiyyat & sharing incidents as recounted by Huzoor(aba) will serve to bolster the faith of the youth, naturally drawing them to the mosque.
Additionally, organising leisure activities, indoor games & interactive Q/A sessions can address the questions that arise in the minds of the youth and for the new converts instead of “…simply delivering speeches on the death of Jesus(as) or the existence of God, or other topics”.
Huzoor(aba) also said established members should improve their moral condition to such a degree that people become inspired by their example. Huzoor(aba) mentioned the “…idiom that ‘a person is influenced by the company he keeps’ and this is the sign of a believer as well.” Huzoor(aba) concluded by saying: “That is why Allah has said that a person who sits in the company of believers derives benefit and they do not suffer any harm.”

PART SUMMARY
This Week with Huzoor - 17 November 2023
Waqfe Nau from Belgium had the blessed chance to virtually meet with Huzoor(aba) on Sunday 12th Nov. 2023. Over 20 questions were asked and below, we present a gist of just some of the questions and answers.
Huzoor(aba) was asked how one can help the people of Palestine while also praying?
Huzoor(aba) advised that the initial step should be prayer and contributing to charity is another way to make a positive impact. Huzoor(aba) mentioned that Humanity First being is actively involved in humanitarian efforts & open for donations.
Referencing the current global challenges, a Waqif-e-Nau inquired about how to ready oneself for the future?
“Firstly, pray that Allah the Almighty safeguards us from this war & that it does not spread to a global scale, even though it has somewhat escalated globally, but pray it does not further escalate into a full world war.”
Huzoor(aba) continued by saying that if a global war does break out, then one should pray that your faith remains firm without any fear: “Observe the children in Palestine & the cruelties they are enduring due to the war, yet they do not have any fear. When their pictures circulate, you see them smiling & laughing. Thus, there should be no fear within you, rather you should be courageous.”
Furthermore, Huzoor(aba) suggested expressing opposition to war & advocating for peace when discussing the matter with friends & mentioned the importance of patience, determination and foreseeing potential food shortages, particularly in the event of a worsening global conflict. Huzoor(aba) concluded by advising to maintain a mindset geared towards prayer, specifically seeking Allah’s intervention to avert a global war.
At what age one should enter the system of Wassiyat?
Huzoor(aba) stated that individuals can join Wassiyyat from the age of 15 & renew it later as they mature. “It should not be the case that when you legally become a mature adult, you say that ‘I joined Al-Wassiyat when I was younger and did not know much about it.’ So, you should renew your commitment to Al-Wasiyyat at the age of 18.”
Huzoor(aba) also recommended reading & understanding the book The Will to comprehend the expectations of the Promised Messiah(as) & the reasons behind initiating this scheme of Wassiyat. Huzoor(aba) concluded by stating: “When one understands this, they should enter the system of Wasiyyat.”
At AMA UK Gallery, we particularly cherish the straightforward & eloquent questions posed by young individuals during these virtual mulaqats. For instance, on Nov. 3rd, a heart-warming moment occurred when a 6-year-old asked Huzoor(aba) if he could hug Allah. Such a beautiful question reflects the deep love this child holds for Allah at such a tender age. In a similar vein, during this session, another delightful question came from an 8-year-old named Muneef Ahmad, who inquired about how he could befriend Allah.
Huzoor(aba) responded by saying that Allah requires obedience from those aspiring to be His friends. Referring to the teachings of the Holy Prophet(sa), Huzoor(aba) mentioned that from the age of 7, children are advised to start offering salat which becomes obligatory at the age of 10. Huzoor(aba) then said that one should begin adopting this habit of prayer so that Allah may show His love and befriend them.
Harris Ahmad, aged 8, asked Huzoor(aba) if he could lead the congregational prayer at home.
Huzoor(aba) responded that if the mosque was not nearby & his parents were unable to go there for any reason, he could lead thge prayer at home. However, Huzoor(aba) also said that if the mosque was near & his parents attended prayers there, he should also strive to join them in praying at the mosque.
A Waqif-e-Nau stated that Allah the Almighty said in the Holy Qur’an that His righteous servants shall inherit the land (Ch.21:V.106). Will those people be among the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community?
Huzoor(aba) stated that if Jama’at members maintain righteousness, they will be considered righteous servants by following Allah’s commands. Huzoor(aba) highlighted the significance of the Promised Messiah(as), sent in this era in subservience to the Holy Prophet(sa), to revive the true teachings of Islam & establish a single community. Huzoor(aba) then emphasised, that it is now the Jama’at’s obligation to be included among those who are His righteous servants.
Huzoor(aba), upon being asked if a non-Ahmadi relative or friend passes away, can one pray for their forgiveness?
Huzoor(aba) replied: “Yes, if he is a Muslim, believe in the Unity of God, is convinced of Allah the Almighty’s existence & believes in the Holy Prophet(sa), then you can pray for his forgiveness.” Huzoor(aba) affirmed that even if there’s a misunderstanding leading to a rejection of the Promised Messiah(as), prayers for forgiveness are still permissible.
Huzoor(aba) also said that in a circumstance where a non-Ahmadi Muslim passes away, without any other Muslims in the vicinity to perform the funeral prayer, one is allowed to lead the funeral prayer for them.
How will Allah treat someone who sincerely believes in their heart that Ahmadiyyat is the truth but does not publicly declare their allegiance due to fearful circumstances?
Huzoor(aba) said that if someone, in genuinely perilous circumstances, embraces Ahmadiyyat sincerely & refrains from using offensive language against the Promised Messiah(as), they are considered an Ahmadi at heart.
Huzoor(aba) then shared an incident from the time of the Holy Prophet(sa), illustrating that under duress, a Companion uttered something against the Holy Prophet(sa) but later repented sincerely. The Holy Prophet(sa), in response, focused on the sincerity of the individual’s faith, stating that Allah’s forgiveness is possible if the heart holds true faith.
Huzoor(aba) mentioned that although Allah may forgive those who genuinely embrace Ahmadiyyat in their hearts but cannot openly express it due to circumstances, continual use of offensive language against the Promised Messiah(as) is not acceptable..
Upon being asked about the concept of the evil eye & whether there is any reality in it?
Huzoor(aba) stated that the idea of the evil eye lacks substance. However, Huzoor(aba) acknowledged the presence of envy & recognised that individuals driven by envy can unintentionally cause harm. Huzoor(aba) advised seeking protection through prayer to safeguard oneself from the negative intentions of envious people, emphasising the importance of prayer in the last two chapters of the Holy Qur’an – Surah Al-Falaq and Surah An-Nas.
A young boy asked Huzoor(aba) why Muslims wear white clothing during Hajj and Umrah?
Huzoor(aba) said the white clothes symbolises cleanliness, especially during Hajj & Umrah, which are sacred acts of worship bringing individuals close to God. Huzoor(aba) further added that this practice aligns with the teachings of the Holy Prophet(sa) for Muslims.
Huzoor(aba) was asked if a Waqif-e-Nau could become a politician?
Huzoor(aba) was clear in his answer and said: “Yes, you can become a politician, but you must be honest, do not lie. The politicians of today tend to lie a lot. And they are cowardly.”
Huzoor(aba) continued: “… [politicians] should raise their voice against injustice wherever it may be,” and to speak out against injustices, whether directed towards Israelis or Palestinians.
