JANUARY 9th 2017
Head of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community inaugurates new mosque in Mitcham, London. "The purpose of a Mosque is to worship the One God, and so all those who come to worship in this Mosque should seek to fulfil this objective. Thus, Ahmadi Muslims should always pay full attention towards worship and fulfilling the obligations owed to God Almighty." |
FEBRUARY 28th 2017
Head of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community addresses female Muslim youth event (Waqf-e-Nau Ijtema) in London. "Let it be crystal clear that in no respect is a woman's status less than that of a man." "Remember that the key for any nation to thrive and progress lies in the hands of the mothers of that nation." |

"A Waqf-e-Nau should never be the cause of pain for others, instead they should always be kind, compassionate and caring." Jamia Ahmadiyya UK and Canada Convocation takes place in Joint Ceremony. "As Missionaries, you will need to fulfil the responsibility of providing spiritual and moral guidance to Ahmadi Muslims and you will also need to spread the peaceful teachings of Islam to those who are unaware of its true message." |

Head of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community calls for a curb on arms trade and urges dialogue between nations. "Whilst the primary interest of every nation should be the well-being of mankind and achieving peace, it is a sad truth that business interests and the pursuit of wealth invariably take priority over such concerns." |
APRIL 9th 2017
Head of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community arrives in Germany. His Holiness travelled to Frankfurt and arrived at the Baitus Subuh Mosque where he was greeted by hundreds of Ahmadi Muslim men, women and children who were all overjoyed to see their spiritual leader again. |
APRIL 10th 2017
50th Ahmadiyya Mosque in Germany opened in Waldshut-Tiengen by Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community A special reception was later held attended by 110 dignitaries and guests where the Khalifa also delivered the keynote address. |
APRIL 11th 2017
New Ahmadiyya Mosque opened in Augsburg by His Holiness. A special reception was later held attended by 130 dignitaries and guests where the Khalifa also delivered the keynote address where His Holiness highlighted the importance of fulfilling the rights of mankind based on the teachings of Islam. |

The Khalifa delivers Friday Sermon in Raunheim, Germany. His Holiness also led the funeral prayers of 3 eminent members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community – Prof. Ashfaq Ahmad, H.Nasirud-Din and Sahibzadi Amatul Waheed Begum. |

Head of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community lays foundation stone for new mosque in Raunheim, Germany. Around 135 guests attended the ceremony including the Mayor of Raunheim, Thomas Juhe. His Holiness delivered the keynote address & spoke about purposes of mosques, concerns about the increasingly volatile world situation and religious freedom in Islam. |

Al-Ain Eye Clinic inaugurated by Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. The clinic will provide essential eye treatment in Africa including cataract surgery in remote towns and villages. Following an inspection of the mobile unit, His Holiness unveiled a plaque to mark the occasion before leading a silent prayer |

Historic reception held to mark 25th anniversary of MTA TV. His Holiness says MTA a fulfilment of the revelation that 'I shall cause thy message to reach the corners of the earth.' "This all part of the Divine Will as Allah Himself promised to spread the message of the Promised Messiah (peace be upon him) to the corners of the world. He has fulfilled this promise and is continuing to do so." |

Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community condemns 'utterly barbaric' Manchester terror attack. His Holiness said: "It is a source of immense grief for any true Muslim to hear that innocent people are being murdered at the hands of Muslims and that there are Muslims causing such devastation and destruction in the name of Islam." |

More than 600,000 join the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. More than 37,000 people attended the Jalsa Salana Uk 2017 which took place in Hampshire. The 51st Annual Convention concluded on Sunday 30th July with a powerful and faith-inspiring address from the Khalifa. During the 3 day convention, His Holiness delivered 5 addresses. |

Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community arrives in Germany. His Holiness has travelled to attend the 42nd Jalsa Salana (Annual Convention) of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in Germany, taking place in Karlsruhe, in which more than 30,000 delegates from dozens of countries are expected. |
AUGUST 21st 2017
New Ahmadiyya Mosque opened in Giessen by the Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community His Holiness officially inaugurated the Mosque by unveiling a commemorative plaque and offering silent prayer. A special reception was later held attended by 265 dignitaries. His Holiness said: "This mosque is named Baitus-Samad. Al-Samad is an attribute of God which means a Being which is everlasting and is completely independent, whereas everything else is dependent upon God." |

Inspection of Jalsa Salana Germany 2017 takes place in Karlsruhe. Later His Holiness directly addressed thousands of volunteers tasked with holding the convention. His Holiness also spoke of how many of the volunteer workers had become very proficient int heir duties, even though they were quite different from their daily professions. |

Jalsa Salana Germany begins in Karlsruhe. "The perfect morals and prayers of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) are the greatest example for us all in all respects. He practically showed us the best moral conduct in all aspects of our life. He shone a light on how we should behave both amongst others and in our home." |
AUGUST 26th 2017
Head of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community calls for equality of all races and peace based upon justice during address at Jalsa Salana Germany. "Islam proclaims that all people are born equal, no matter where they hail from or the colour of their skin." His Holiness also condemned extremist clerics and Muslim governments in destabilising the world. |

His Holiness concludes Jalsa Salana Germany 2017 with a faith inspiring address. "His Holiness said that the current state of the Muslim world was in fact a sign of the truth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) as he had foretold that the state of the Muslims would degenerate to such an extent that the so-called Muslim scholars would be the “worst creatures under the canopy of heavens.” Yet alongside this warning, the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) prophesied the advent of the true Messiah and Reformer, who would rejuvenate Islam’s true teachings." |
SEPTEMBER 6th 2017
Head of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community condems persecution of Rohingya Muslims. "I pray that the persecution of the Muslims in Myanmar, and indeed of all people who are denied their religious rights in the world, comes to an end. We believe that all people should be free to practice their faith or beliefs without any fear and that all people should be equal under the law of their land.” |
SEPTEMBER 17th 2017
His Holiness concludes Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya Ijtema with inspiring address. “If people lived by this teaching all hatreds and conflicts would end – both at a personal level and amongst the wider society. This saying does not only instruct Muslims to abstain from harming others, it also directs them towards humanitarian efforts because the deeper meaning of these words require Muslims to actively seek to help and serve mankind.” |

39th Lajna Imaillah Ijtema concludes with address by His Holiness. “From an administrative perspective, this Ijtema has been organised and run by women from start to end, and they will have made a programme that is attuned to the needs and preferences of our ladies and girls. Hence, this Ijtema is a collective and practical demonstration of the great status bestowed upon women by Islam.” |
OCTOBER 10th 2017
Archbishop of Canterbury visits Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. During the meeting, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad spoke of the need for ‘tolerance’ in society and for ‘mutual respect’ to be displayed by all people and communities. He said that it was imperative that people had the right to practice their religion freely and without any form of coercion. |
DECEMBER 31st 2017
123rd Jalsa Salana concludes with address by His Holiness. “Let it be clear to the world that the Promised Messiah, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadian (peace be upon him) brought no new religious law, nor can any new religious law henceforth be revealed. Furthermore, the Holy Prophet Muhammad’s (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) exalted status is the very reason that God Almighty granted the status of Prophethood to the Promised Messiah (peace be upon him). He attained this status due to his complete obedience and servitude to his master, the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).” |
