  • Conversation regarding changing Gaza War perspectives
During a conversation with Huzoor, Daud Majoka, the External Affairs Secretary from Germany, reported that the German Jama’at had met with 24 Members of Parliament so far this year. Daud said to Huzoor(aba) that he noted a recent shift in political and media discourse, pointing out that criticism of the Israeli government’s actions in Gaza had increased. He found it noteworthy that this change coincided with a joint statement from the UK, France and Canada, suggesting that this may have emboldened others to speak out.

Huzoor(aba) acknowledged this shift and remarked that even the German Chancellor had recently stated that, despite Germany’s historical position, the current situation in Gaza had reached such a critical level that Germany felt compelled to call on Israel to restrain itself and cease its actions. Daud added that the language now being used by officials included terms like “war crimes,” to which Huzoor(aba) responded by praising the Chancellor’s courage in making such statements.

Daud reiterated that this transformation in public discourse had occurred very suddenly, with journalists now also voicing criticism. Huzoor(aba) attributed this directly to the impact of the joint statement issued by Canada, France and the UK. Daud, however, raised concerns that despite the shift in rhetoric, countries like Germany were still continuing their arms exports to Israel. He mentioned that the Jama’at was consistently raising this issue during meetings, on social media and in published articles. Huzoor(aba) responded by highlighting that Spain had taken a stronger stance by halting its exports, commending their courage in doing so.

Speaking to Daud, Huzoor(aba) questioned why Germany, as a major nation, could not take similar action. Huzoor(aba) pointed out that present-day Germans should not bear the burden of Hitler’s crimes and that the murder of six million Jews in the past does not justify the killing of six million Muslims today. Huzoor(aba) urged that such reasoning should be explained clearly to the people.

Daud then proudly shared that the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at had been the first among Muslim organisations in Germany to publicly and unequivocally speak out against the atrocities in Gaza. He added that even a Member of Parliament had acknowledged this recently. Huzoor (aba) affirmed this effort and advised that the Jama’at should continue to uphold and voice its principled stance.

  • What is Huzoor’s guidance for young Ahmadis drifting from the Jama’at because of Western influence?
Huzoor(aba) acknowledged that these are indeed challenging issues that must be confronted directly. He advised that all three auxiliary organisations: Khuddam, Lajna and Ansar, as well as the Tarbiyat department and missionaries, should work together in a unified and coordinated manner. Through such collective efforts, it is possible to re-engage and draw these individuals closer to the Jama’at. Huzoor(aba) noted that some youth may hold grievances against local office-bearers, while others may be influenced by worldly pursuits or face difficulties rooted in family matters. Therefore, it is essential to first identify the underlying cause for each individual’s distance and then respond appropriately.

  • Can Ahmadi Muslims donate to mosques of non-Ahmadis if they ask for help?
Huzoor(aba) provided guidance by referring to a principle rooted in the teachings of Hazrat Musleh Mau’od (ra). Huzoor (aba) explained that if certain individuals do not support the Jama’at, speak against it, or reject the Imam of the age, then there is no obligation to offer them support, especially in matters such as contributing to their mosque funds.

Huzoor (aba) recalled an incident when Hazrat Musleh Mau’od (ra) was asked whether Ahmadis should donate to a mosque fund raised by non-Ahmadis. He responded that if those individuals oppose the Jama’at, there is no reason to support them financially. Instead, those resources should be used to build and support the Jama’at’s own mosques and institutions. Huzoor (aba) clarified that while giving such donations is not a sin, it is better to refrain and focus efforts on strengthening one’s own community.

  • Can we ask members to calculate and declare their own monthly Chanda instead of asking for their income?
In response, Huzoor (aba) explained that many people feel uncomfortable sharing their income details. For this reason, even the Musi declaration has been revised from requiring an income statement to simply affirming that Chanda is being paid according to one’s income, with a sense of righteousness.

Huzoor (aba) said that members can be encouraged to either state that they are giving Chanda in accordance with their income and ability or specify a fixed amount they are able to pay. He acknowledged that due to rising living costs and financial pressures, some individuals are genuinely unable to contribute at previous levels. When asked directly for their income and a set Chanda is imposed, it can create anxiety, leading some to conceal the truth or lie.

Huzoor (aba) emphasised that individuals should be honest and give what they can, rather than feel pressured into falsehood. Truthfulness and sincerity in financial contributions are more important than the amount given.

  • What is Huzoor’s(aba) guidance for those who want to run the Jama’at like a company?
Huzoor (aba) explained that the Jama’at already has a comprehensive and well-defined system based on established rules and regulations. These guidelines exist at every level, from the central Markaz to local Jama’ats and include detailed responsibilities for all offices such as the External Affairs Secretary, President, General Secretary and the Tarbiyat and Finance departments. Therefore, there is no need to model the system on a corporate structure, as it already functions with clear governance and accountability.

Huzoor (aba) acknowledged that while certain efficient practices from the corporate world have been adopted where appropriate, these are only included when they positively contribute to the Jama’at’s spiritual purpose. He emphasised that the Jama’at is not a business or secular organisation; it is a spiritual system. Its purpose is not to serve the interests of individuals or to seek approval from offices or leadership, but to attain the pleasure of Allah Almighty.

Huzoor (aba) reminded that all work within the Jama’at should be carried out with sincerity and the awareness that Allah sees everything. This spiritual accountability must remain at the heart of all activities. He reiterated that in his Shura address in the UK, he had laid out comprehensive guidance on this matter, and ultimately, the “company” members are working for is the company of Allah the Almighty. If that perspective is maintained, everything else will naturally align.

  • How rapidly would the current Iran-Israel situation escalate?
In response to the question about how rapidly the Iran-Israel situation could escalate, Huzoor (aba) explained that the conflict has already been intensifying over the past two years. Israel has launched attacks on Lebanon, Syria, parts of Jordan and is now targeting Iran directly. Huzoor (aba) emphasised that unless Muslim countries unite and make a sincere, collective effort to demonstrate strength and resolve, the situation will continue to worsen. Merely issuing statements condemning Israel’s actions, whether from the Saudi leadership, the Jordanian president, the Qatari Emir, or others, is not sufficient. True integrity and action are needed, for the sake of their nations, their people and their faith.

  • What should be done about Ansar in Tajneed who aren’t contributing to the budget?
Huzoor (aba) explained that anyone who calls themselves an Ahmadi is part of the Tajneed and should remain included. The purpose of Majlis Ansarullah is to provide moral and spiritual training (Tarbiyat) to such individuals and to help them understand the importance of financial sacrifice.

If an individual has income, they should contribute Chanda. If they do not, they should inform the Jama'at of their circumstances. Those with no or minimal income, such as asylum seekers or those living in poverty, are still part of the Tajneed but are not eligible to hold office due to their inability to contribute. However, they must still be treated with love, dignity and care.

Huzoor (aba) emphasised that the aim is not to remove non-contributors from the list but to reform and draw them closer. Members of Ansarullah have a duty to support the most vulnerable, even to the extent of assisting with basic needs, such as food, if necessary.

Special attention should be given to Ansar in asylum camps. They should be encouraged to attend Jumu'ah prayers regularly, as this helps develop their connection with the Jama’at. Efforts should be made to reach out not just for Chanda collection, but to show genuine concern for their well-being.

Huzoor (aba) stressed the importance of compassion, warmth and inclusion,  especially when someone returns after a long absence. Such individuals should be welcomed wholeheartedly, not judged or made to feel unwelcome. The objective is to revive their attachment and ensure the spiritual nurturing of current and future generations.

Ultimately, sincere and consistent Tarbiyat efforts will lead such individuals back to the Jama’at with love and readiness, rather than through pressure or exclusion.

  • How can Ansarullah play its role in the National Rishta Nata Committee as an auxiliary organisation?
Huzoor (aba) explained that the National Rishta Nata Committee was established with the same concern and sense of responsibility that parents have when arranging the marriages of their own children. Therefore, Ansarullah, alongside Lajna Ima’illah, Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya and Amir Sahib, should all collaborate actively in this effort.

Huzoor (aba) emphasised that the primary role of Tarbiyat departments, including that of Ansarullah, is to morally and spiritually train members so they seek suitable matches within the Ahmadiyya Community, with a focus on piety and compatibility. When members demonstrate this commitment, the organisation should assist them through prayers, support, and guidance, just as one would for their own children.

To facilitate this, Huzoor (aba) emphasised the need for improved communication and greater familiarity among families. Ansarullah can help by organising introductions, meetings, or counselling sessions. He suggested that at least one or two such sessions should be held annually, either under the Jama’at or Ansarullah’s own arrangements.

Importantly, Huzoor (aba) instructed that efforts must be based on accurate and complete data. Ansarullah should help collect and maintain records of individuals seeking matches, including their ages, education levels, ethnic backgrounds (e.g., Arab, European, Pakistani) and their preferences and use this information to plan targeted efforts accordingly.

  • Does holding a different opinion mean disobedience? And is true obedience defined by following without hesitation?
Huzoor (aba) explained that holding a differing opinion does not mean a person is being disobedient, nor does blindly agreeing with everything qualify as true obedience. Differing views, expressed respectfully, are a sign of intellectual and communal progress.

Huzoor (aba) said that during the UK Shura 2025, he had addressed this issue in detail. It is perfectly valid to hold and express a different opinion but what is wrong is stubbornly insisting that only one’s own view is correct and others are wrong. Once a majority decision is made, it should generally be accepted for the sake of unity.

However, if someone sincerely believes the majority decision is not in the best interest of the Jama’at, they have the right to submit a note during the meeting requesting that their view be forwarded to the Markaz, or they may write to the Markaz directly. Doing so is neither hypocrisy nor rebellion – in fact, expressing such views with honesty and sincerity is part of being a responsible member.

Huzoor (aba) also pointed out that often people do not express their opinion when given the chance, but later criticise the outcome. This, he said, is not the right approach.

  • Some people do not express their opinion till after a decision is made. What is Huzoor's (aba) guidance?
Huzoor (aba) emphasised that withholding one's opinion during discussions but criticising decisions afterwards is a form of hypocrisy. If someone holds a view, honesty requires them to express it openly. It is the responsibility of the administration to listen to differing opinions with patience and tolerance.

Huzoor (aba) clarified that having a difference of opinion is not wrong; however, being stubborn and insisting that only one's view is correct is inappropriate. If someone feels strongly, they should write to the Markaz and once a decision is made by the Markaz or the Khalifa of the time, it should be accepted.

  • What is the best way for younger Ansar to fully integrate into Majlis Ansarullah?
Huzoor (aba) emphasised that young members entering Ansarullah should not view turning 40 as a reason to become inactive. Rather, they should remain just as energetic and committed as they were in Khuddamul Ahmadiyya. Referring to Hazrat Musleh Ma'oud (ra), Huzoor (aba) noted the concern that some individuals become lazy upon joining Ansarullah, despite being highly active before.

To support these younger Ansar, a dedicated plan has been assigned to the Naib Sadr of Ansarullah, including physical activities such as cycling and tailored programs to keep them engaged. Huzoor (aba) stressed that alongside these activities, spiritual growth must also be prioritised. With the right Tarbiyat, these members will remain closely attached to the organisation and continue to serve actively.

  • Why are Khuddamul Ahmadiyya office bearers called “Mohtamim” while those in Ansarullah are called “Qaid”? What explains this difference in titles?
Huzoor (aba) explained that these distinctions were established by those who set up the respective organisational systems. The difference in terminology – Mohtamim in Khuddam and Qaid in Ansarullah – serves to clarify and differentiate the structure of each auxiliary body.

Huzoor (aba) further elaborated that just as in the Jama'at, both men and women may be called Secretary for various departments, these auxiliary organisations have distinct titles to suit their own identities. He added that perhaps the term "Qaid" was chosen for Ansarullah to reflect the leadership qualities expected at that age, when individuals are more mature and capable of providing effective guidance.

  • Conversation with Qaid Tabligh - New methods of Tabligh.
Huzoor (aba) advised the Tabligh Guide to adopt innovative and modern methods for Tabligh, rather than relying on outdated practices or simply highlighting past achievements. He emphasised the importance of adapting to the times, letting go of old comforts, and understanding the current mindset of society to enhance the effectiveness of Tabligh efforts.

Huzoor (aba) reminded them that even though they may be members of Ansarullah and seniors in age, they should maintain the spirit and energy of youth. He encouraged the inclusion of younger Ansar who are active and motivated and urged the formulation of dynamic action plans that would effectively spread the message of Islam to a broader audience.

Huzoor (aba) stressed the importance of practical outreach by engaging with people, distributing literature, holding seminars, fostering connections, and motivating other Jama’at members through their own example. Huzoor (aba) highlighted the value of Ansar's experience and urged them to use it constructively to introduce fresh initiatives and avoid stagnation.

  • How can the difference in Allah's treatment of believers and disbelievers be observed and explained to non-Muslims?
Huzoor (aba) explained that before addressing the difference in Allah’s treatment of believers and disbelievers, Muslims must first elevate their own standard of faith and practice. Huzoor (aba) said:  “Just saying Alhamdulillah, Bismillah, or that it’s by Allah’s grace that you're a Muslim is not enough. The five daily prayers are obligatory, yet many don’t even observe them. That’s the most basic requirement. Many Muslims today do not remain firm in truth or live by the teachings of Islam, which weakens the credibility of their claims.

Huzoor (aba) stated that those believers who are genuinely pious, regular in their prayers and obedient to Allah’s commandments are often granted both spiritual and worldly blessings. This was exemplified by the companions of the Holy Prophet (sa), whose hearts were connected to Allah while their hands were engaged in productive work. That’s why the Promised Messiah (as) mentioned two individuals in a proverb-like manner: “Hands busy in work, but hearts connected to Allah.”

In contrast, some non-believers who work hard and act sincerely, even without religious faith, may receive worldly rewards from Allah due to their honesty and effort. At the same time, many nominal Muslims fail to act with sincerity or consistency. Hypocrisy, Huzoor (aba) said, weakens one’s standing before Allah.

To help others understand the difference in Allah’s treatment, Huzoor (aba) advised that Muslims must first present themselves as actual examples of faith. When a believer combines righteous conduct with diligent effort, Allah grants blessings, peace, and success in both this life and the next. If such examples exist in society, they should be highlighted as evidence of Allah’s favour upon the righteous.

Huzoor (aba) stated: “And if people don’t believe now, then in the next world they will say, 'O Allah, give us another chance to return and do good, and follow Your commandments.' But Allah will reply, 'No, your time is up. You had your chance.'"

Huzoor (aba) concluded by saying that the message of Islam should be shared sincerely: belief in Allah leads to both spiritual and worldly success. However, first, Muslims must strengthen their own faith, lead by example and bring others to the truth through genuine transformation and a connection with God.

  • Why do some children consider parental advice after marriage as interference?
Huzoor (aba) explained that if children have been given a proper moral and religious upbringing, they naturally understand the rights and responsibilities of marriage. However, once they become adults, especially after marriage, parental advice can sometimes be seen as interference, particularly when it oversteps boundaries into their personal lives.

Huzoor (aba) emphasised that giving guidance is important, but controlling behaviour, such as demanding that a daughter-in-law greet her in-laws daily or insisting the couple live with parents, is inappropriate. Once children are adults, they deserve space and independence. Trying to control their decisions can backfire, causing resentment and even distancing them from religion.

Huzoor (aba) said: If proper training is given from childhood, those children usually don’t go astray. However, if that wasn’t done, and you now interfere in their lives when they’re already adults, then you're actually making things worse. You’ll push them further away from yourselves and from the religion, too.

So don’t interfere in their personal matters. Leave them to their own situation and pray for them. The Promised Messiah (as) said: ‘You should pray for your children.’ The very first thing is to pray earnestly for your children. The biggest weapon you have is to pray that Allah grants them a righteous upbringing.”

Instead of interference, Huzoor (aba) advised parents to pray sincerely for their children and lead by example. If parents demonstrate righteous living, their children are more likely to follow. In summary, once children are grown, parents should counsel gently, avoid overstepping, and rely on prayer and personal example to positively influence them.

  • Should the Jama’at try to establish a graveyard for Musi’s in every country?
Huzoor (aba) stated that the Jama’at should make efforts to establish Maqbara Moosiyan (graveyards for Wasiyat members) in every country where possible. He mentioned that such graveyards already exist in countries like the UK and Germany, and efforts are ongoing in other regions as well. In large countries with multiple cities, local Jama’ats should also try to establish their own Maqbara Moosiyan.

However, Huzoor (aba) acknowledged that in some places, legal or practical limitations may prevent this. In such cases, these are unavoidable constraints and Allah knows people’s intentions. He added that Allah can elevate the spiritual status of the deceased through the prayers of their loved ones, even if burial in a designated Moosi graveyard isn’t possible.

Nonetheless, the effort should always be made, as the instruction to establish such graveyards comes from the book Al-Wasiyyat itself. Therefore, Jama’ats should actively work toward establishing Maqbara Moosiyan wherever feasible.

  • Remarks of Khuddam after the Mulaqat with Huzoor (aba).
The Khuddam expressed deep gratitude and joy at the unexpected opportunity to have a personal Mulaqat with Huzoor (aba). Although they were uncertain the day before whether a meeting would happen, Huzoor (aba) graciously granted them over 30 minutes, during which everyone had a chance to ask questions. Below are some comments made by two of the Khuddam.

“I had recently written a letter to Huzoor about a PhD position that I had accepted. What made this moment even more special was that I had consulted Huzoor before accepting the offer, and I had written to him just two days ago. The fact that Huzoor remembered all of this shows the special spiritual connection we have with him.”

“Even though Huzoor receives so many letters, thousands, he still remembers the small details from my letters. For example, I had once written to him some time ago that my business had been slow. Today, Huzoor asked me, ‘How is your business going now? Has it improved?’ And I told him about the current situation. He even remembered what kind of business I do, which I had mentioned in my letters.

"This makes me think: Huzoor receives countless letters, yet he remembers such small details. This is clear evidence that Khilafat is from Allah Almighty, and it is Allah Himself who supports Khilafat."

This session left a powerful impression on all the Khuddam, as it showed the deep spiritual connection and attentiveness Huzoor (aba) has toward members of the Jama’at, despite receiving thousands of letters. They were amazed and humbled by Huzoor’s (aba) exceptional memory, care and love.
