SUMMARIES

  • (1) How can I find the time to read and fully understand Jama’ati books?
Huzoor (aba) explained that everyone has enough time in a 24-hour day if they organise their lives properly and set the right priorities. After accounting for sleep, meals, prayers, university, commuting and study, there is still free time left. Therefore, it is not difficult to set aside at least 30 to 60 minutes daily for reading religious literature.

Huzoor (aba) advised making it a habit to read the Holy Qur’an after Fajr regularly and to allocate time either in the morning or before going to sleep for studying Jama’at literature, the books of the Promised Messiah (as), Hadith, or Tafsir. Huzoor (aba) emphasised that saying one is too tired reflects misplaced priorities, where worldly matters take precedence over faith.

Huzoor (aba) stressed that life can only be regulated appropriately through planning and organisation. Even half an hour a day is sufficient at a young age and with consistency, interest in religious knowledge will gradually grow.

On weekends, more time can be devoted to studying. Ultimately, developing a genuine interest is key; once interest is cultivated, finding time becomes easy, but without it, religious study remains superficial and neglected.

  • (2) I am the grandson of Maulana Attaullah Kaleem. Can Huzoor (aba) share his memories of him?
Huzoor (aba) described Maulana Attaullah Kaleem as a deeply devoted, loyal and sincere servant of the Jama’at who worked wholeheartedly wherever he was assigned, including his service in Germany and other postings. He was known for performing his duties with excellence and dedication.

Huzoor (aba) highlighted his strong spiritual qualities, particularly his regular observance of Tahajjud prayers and his constant prayers for the Jama’at, the people and his work. He possessed firm faith, complete trust in Allah and genuine sincerity – qualities that defined his life and service.

Huzoor (aba) said that despite facing difficult circumstances, including severe economic challenges during his time in Ghana, he never complained. He remained cheerful, spoke with a smile and consistently displayed patience and reliance on Allah. Huzoor (aba) noted that due to this steadfast trust, prayer and determination, Allah the Almighty blessed him, which is reflected in the success and good standing of his children today.

Huzoor (aba) concluded by emphasising that unwavering faith, regular supplication, trust in Allah, and determination in one’s work make all things possible.

  • (3) How can a genuine spirit of service and willingness to undertake even difficult or menial tasks for the Jama’at be instilled in Khuddam who tend to avoid such work?
Huzoor (aba) explained that the true spirit of service is rooted in Waqar-e-Amal, the dignity of labour and Khuddam should be taught to view work as a source of honour. He emphasised that the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa), despite his perfect sense of cleanliness and dignity, personally undertook physically demanding and dirty tasks when the need arose, such as digging trenches alongside his companions.

Huzoor (aba) advised that Khuddam should be reminded that if the Holy Prophet (sa) could engage in such labour, then there is no justification for others to avoid it. As Muslims, they must follow his example and understand that true honour lies in serving the Jama’at selflessly.

Huzoor (aba) further explained that serving the Jama’at brings both spiritual reward from Allah the Almighty and practical benefits, including improved physical health. Hard work, therefore, is beneficial for both one’s faith and well-being and this understanding helps cultivate a genuine spirit of service and action.

  • (4) I wish to become a doctor. How can we balance our worldly and spiritual pursuits?
Huzoor (aba) explained that worldly professions and spiritual life can be balanced successfully and many Ahmadi doctors already exemplify this by being regular in prayers, offering Tahajjud, serving the Jama’at and engaging in religious work alongside their professional duties.

Huzoor (aba)  illustrated this with the example of Dr. Syed Abdul Latif Shah Sahib, a doctor during the time of the Promised Messiah (as) and the maternal grandfather of Hazrat Khalifatul Masih IV (ru). Despite his busy hospital work, he devoted time to preaching. On one occasion, while preaching near a mosque, a non-Muslim man angrily threw a clay water pot at him, causing a serious head injury. Although Dr. Shah Sahib could have had the man arrested, he quietly went to the hospital for treatment and then returned to the same place. When the man, who was now overwhelmed with remorse, begged for forgiveness, Dr Shah Sahib forgave him and calmly asked him to listen to the message of Ahmadiyyat. Deeply moved by this display of forgiveness and high moral character, the man accepted Bai‘at. Huzoor (aba) highlighted that this conversion came not through words alone, but through exemplary conduct.

Huzoor (aba) gave further historical examples from the time of the Promised Messiah (as), highlighting doctors who combined excellence in their profession with high moral character, sacrifice and dedication to faith. Their conduct, humility, forgiveness and compassion served as powerful means of silent preaching, often influencing people more deeply than words alone.
Huzoor (aba) further emphasised that when a doctor shows compassion, humility and good morals to patients, especially the poor, this becomes a powerful form of silent preaching. Such a doctor not only heals physical illness but also wins hearts and spreads the message of Islam through actions.

Huzoor (aba) concluded that by maintaining regular worship, serving humanity selflessly, supporting the Jama’at and upholding noble character, a person can successfully balance worldly responsibilities with spiritual pursuits, earn the pleasure of Allah and become a source of guidance for others.

  • (5) How can we raise our voice against injustice in the world? How can we support human rights?
Huzoor (aba) explained that raising one’s voice against injustice should be done to the full extent of one’s capacity and influence. He stated: “As is within our reach, we are already doing that.” He highlighted that he has personally raised these issues at Capitol Hill in the USA, where his calm and reasoned approach was appreciated, even though political interests prevented action.

Huzoor (aba) highlighted that despite acknowledging the need for justice, world leaders often fail to act due to political pressures, lobbying and financial interests. He explained how influential groups are courted and influenced so that they speak in favour of specific agendas, which makes the establishment of justice impossible.

Huzoor (aba) emphasised that true justice can only be achieved by following the command of Allah the Almighty, stating that “Allah the Almighty commands absolute justice.” He stressed that there must be no revenge, no double standards and no separate rules for different groups. Equality must prevail everywhere, otherwise justice cannot be truly established.

Huzoor (aba) concluded by urging everyone to play their part within their own capacity, saying that people should raise their voices for justice in their surroundings, environment, workplace and among those around them, doing as much as they possibly can in this cause.

  • (6)  Some Shias give precedence to the family of the Holy Prophet (sa) over Khilafat. Can Huzoor (aba) guide on this matter?
[Huzoor’s (aba) answer to this question was quite long and detailed and this is a very short summary. To fully appreciate the answer, please click on the link below to hear the full version].

Huzoor (aba) explained that the issue raised by some Shias is not merely about love for the family of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), but about rejecting the legitimacy of Khilafat-e-Rashida, particularly the Khilafat of Hazrat Abu Bakr, Hazrat Umar and Hazrat Uthman (may Allah be pleased with them all). He stated that such disagreements began during the era of Khilafat-e-Rashida, arising from mischief and misunderstandings that later became entrenched.

Huzoor (aba) clarified that claims suggesting errors in prophethood or that divine instruction mandated preference of the Ahl-e-Bait over Khilafat are based on misinterpretations of the Holy Qur’an. Huzoor (aba)  said Allah never commanded that Khilafat be restricted to family lineage and Angel Gabriel cannot make mistakes. These beliefs arose from historical distortions rather than authentic Islamic teachings.

Huzoor (aba) emphasised that Ahmadiyyat holds all four Rightly Guided Khulafa to be righteous and honoured, each with a distinct and elevated status. Love and reverence for Hazrat Ali, Hazrat Imam Hasan, and Hazrat Imam Husain (may Allah be pleased with them all) are integral to true faith, and the injustice committed against the grandsons of the Holy Prophet was strongly condemned by the Promised Messiah (peace be upon him). However, this does not diminish the righteousness of the earlier Khulafa.

Huzoor (aba) further pointed out that Hazrat Ali (ra)  himself acknowledged the unique closeness and role of Hazrat Abu Bakr (ra) in the most dangerous moments of the Holy Prophet’s (sa) life, including the incident of the cave mentioned in the Holy Qur’an. Hazrat Ali (ra) never claimed superiority in this regard.

Huzoor (aba) advised that instead of engaging in unnecessary debate, one should study Islamic history carefully and objectively. He recommended reading reliable historical works, including books on the beginning of Khilafat and on the life of Hazrat Ali (ra), to gain clarity. Huzoor (aba) concluded that Allah’s chosen order cannot be altered and those willing to study with sincerity often come to recognise the truth, as evidenced by individuals from Shia backgrounds who have accepted Ahmadiyyat after understanding these matters correctly.

  • (7) How can we become an excellent example for the Jama’at and for the entire world?
Huzoor (aba) explained that becoming the best example for the Jama’at and the world depends on truly acting upon the conditions of Bai‘at, as this in itself creates a living model of Islam. He stated that real reform and influence come through practical conduct, not merely through words. Many people, he noted, accept Bai‘at after observing the exemplary behaviour, morals and character of Ahmadis, even before studying religious literature or receiving direct preaching. “The true essence is in becoming an example,” said Huzoor (aba) as “…a true example is what Islam really is.”

Huzoor (aba)  emphasised that this approach was precisely what the Promised Messiah (as) taught, that example comes first and knowledge and words follow.

The Promised Messiah (as) said, listen to the speeches of some clerics; they give very fiery sermons. But when you go and see their practical conduct at home, it is entirely different. That is why their words have no effect, because when people see their actions, they contradict their speech. “Thus, if your condition becomes like theirs, you will have no impact.”

The Promised Messiah (as) narrated an incident in which a cleric delivered a strong sermon stating that sacrifices should be made for the sake of religion, that financial sacrifices were necessary and that various forms of sacrifice were required. His wife was listening from home, as the mosque was adjacent to the house. Being deeply affected, she removed her gold bangles and offered them, saying to give this as Chanda as well. Make sacrifices for the sake of religion. Build the mosque or whatever needs to be done.

The cleric replied: “I delivered the speech to impassion everyone else, not for you. So keep your gold, we must accumulate our wealth.”

Huzoor (aba) concluded by saying that every Ahmadi, according to their capacity, should make sacrifices and consistently serve as a practical example of Islamic teachings. When faith is reflected through sincere actions, moral conduct and personal sacrifice, it leaves a profound and lasting impact on others. It becomes a powerful means of conveying the true message of Islam to the world.

The 7 questions asked were:
  1. I find it difficult to socialise due to being an introvert. How can I overcome this?
  2. Can the wisdom of the prophets or caliphs be compared to prominent scientists?
  3. When someone passes, does Allah judge them immediately or do they wait for the day of judgment?

  7.  What career should a Waqf-e-Nau pursue other than being a missionary?

SUMMARIES
  • (1) I find it difficult to socialise due to being an introvert. How can I overcome this?
Huzoor (aba) advised that shyness should be addressed by gradually developing self-confidence. He explained that an Ahmadi should work to be confident so that they are able to interact with others and convey the teachings of Islam through Tabligh. Without exposure to people and regular interaction, it becomes difficult to fulfil this responsibility.

Huzoor (aba) emphasised the importance of prayer and fulfilling the rights of Allah, while also praying specifically for help in overcoming this weakness. By sincerely supplicating to Allah to grant confidence and ease in communication, a person can gradually learn to speak to others with assurance and overcome shyness.

  • (2) Can the wisdom of the prophets or caliphs be compared to prominent scientists like Einstein?
Huzoor (aba) explained that the wisdom of prophets and caliphs cannot be equated with that of scientists. Prophets are divinely guided by Allah in every respect, whereas caliphs, though guided by Allah, are not infallible in all matters and may occasionally make mistakes. However, if a caliph makes an error in matters relating to the affairs of the Jama‘at, Allah ensures that no lasting harm comes to the community and that the situation is ultimately rectified.

Regarding scientists, Huzoor (aba) mentioned that their achievements are the result of hard work and the effective use of intellect, which itself is a blessing from Allah. Through the law of nature, Allah grants success to those who strive and reflect deeply, regardless of whether they are religious. Some scientists, however, are also spiritually inclined, such as Dr. Abdus Salam, who acknowledged that his scientific research was inspired and guided by verses of the Holy Qur’an. Huzoor (aba) also mentioned that he was also awarded the Nobel Prize.

Huzoor (aba) concluded that two systems operate simultaneously: the law of nature and the law of Shariah. Huzoor (aba) said: “Law of Sharia says that if you are using your mind, you will have two blessings. One blessing of Allah with regards to your religion and the other is using your mind and getting good results out of your effort.”

  • (3) When someone passes, does Allah judge them immediately or do they wait for the day of judgment?
Huzoor (aba) explained that Allah’s judgment begins immediately after a person’s death, though it is not the final judgment. Those who lived righteously enter an initial stage of Paradise and receive an immediate reward, but not the highest ranks of paradise. Those who committed wrongdoing face punishment in Hell according to what Allah has decreed.

Huzoor (aba) also said that this interim state continues until the Day of Judgment, the timing of which is known only to Allah. Immediate reward or punishment gives meaning to moral effort in this life, as it would be contrary to divine justice for people to wait indefinitely without consequence.

On the Day of Judgment, all souls will be gathered again and their cases reconsidered. The righteous, who had already received a preliminary reward, will be granted higher stages of Paradise. Those who were punished may be forgiven and admitted into Paradise, while others who require further accountability may face additional punishment.

Huzoor added that this concept is explained in greater detail by the Promised Messiah (as) in The Philosophy of the Teachings of Islam, in the earlier chapters.

  • (4) When you read letters from children around the world, what aspect of their words brings you the greatest joy?
Huzoor (aba) explained that what gives him the greatest joy is seeing the attachment of children to the Jama‘at and to Khilafat. Even when their words are simple or not fully clear and sometimes conveyed with the help of their parents, he feels happiness knowing that children from around the world express love, respect and heartfelt sentiments.

Huzoor (aba) noted that many children ask for prayers and show belief in Allah, which reflects a strong spiritual connection at a young age. This sincerity and early bond with faith and Khilafat is what pleases him most. Huzoor (aba) therefore emphasised the importance of parents engaging regularly and meaningfully with their children, especially during early childhood and up to the mid-teen years, so that this attachment to the Jama‘at remains strong as they grow older.

  • (5) As a parent, what age of your children was the most challenging and difficult?
Huzoor (aba) said that he did not find any stage of his children’s upbringing especially difficult. He stated that when parents build a strong, trusting relationship with their children, the children are more likely to follow guidance willingly. If children feel confident that their parents are also their friends, that they will be listened to and that their problems will be resolved with understanding, then upbringing does not become difficult at any age.

However, Huzoor (aba) added, that after the age of about fifteen, external influences and the surrounding environment can cause some children to drift away from Islamic teachings and moral values. At this stage, parents need to be more attentive and keep a closer watch, while continuing to maintain trust and engagement.

  • (6) How can I, as a young teenager, stay away from evils that are easy to fall in to?
Huzoor (aba) advised that a young person should first develop a clear understanding of what is good and what is evil and then consciously avoid harmful actions. He explained that regular study of the Holy Qur’an, religious literature and listening to his Friday Sermons helps build this moral awareness.

Huzoor (aba) emphasised the importance of offering the five daily prayers with sincerity, as Allah has promised that true prayer protects a person from wrongdoing. By constantly praying for guidance, as taught in Surah al-Fatihah (Guide us on the Right Path (Ch.1: V.6) , Allah helps keep a believer on the right path despite the efforts of Satan to lead people astray.

Huzoor (aba) also highlighted the need to use one’s intellect wisely, avoid bad company, especially friends involved in bad habits and avoid wasteful time spent on mobile devices and television. He concluded that consistent prayer, reading the Qur’an, good company and seeking Allah’s help are key to staying away from moral evils.

  • (7) What career should a Waqf-e-Nau Khadim pursue other than being a missionary?
Huzoor (aba) explained that a Waqf-e-Nau Khadim is not limited to becoming a missionary. He stated that one may pursue professions such as medicine, teaching, engineering, law, or any other suitable field, and still serve the Jama‘at through that expertise.

Huzoor (aba) emphasised that the key requirement is sincere determination to serve the Jama‘at. If a person completes their education and enters a profession but then becomes so absorbed in worldly responsibilities that service is neglected, this goes against the spirit of Waqf-e-Nau.

However, Huzoor (aba) said: “…if one remains firmly committed to serving the Jama’at, then meaningful service is possible in any career and in any capacity.”

  • (1) Are we permitted to use Tasbih or similar such devices?
Huzoor (aba) stated that using a tasbih or a counting device is permissible, as there is no harm in it. He explained that concerns sometimes arise because Hazrat Masih Mau’od (as) cautioned against counting mechanically, but he himself prescribed specific numbers for certain prayers. Therefore, counting helps ensure the required number of recitations is completed.

However, Huzoor (aba) emphasised: “... this should not be practiced as pretence and display especailly in a gathering. You may do it in solitude.” He also said that modern devices, including electronic counters worn on the finger, are also permissible.

Huzoor (aba) stressed that the recitation should be proper and attentive, not rushed and one should recite the prayers in full. For example, reciting 200 Durood Sharif takes 15–20 minutes, and 100 Istighfar or “Rabbi kulli shay’in khadim” (“Oh my Lord, everything serves you,”) can be completed in 7–10 minutes. Huzoor (aba) also noted that some people recite very quickly without reflection, warning that remembrance should not become mechanical or superficial.

In conclusion, using a tasbih is allowed, but it must be done with reverence, focus and sincerity.

  • (2) Would it be appropriate to appoint a dedicated team of missionaries to respond to allegations?
Huzoor (aba) explained that a system to respond to allegations already exists and should be strengthened rather than creating new, fragmented efforts. He stated that the UK Tabligh Department is actively working in this area and that he has instructed all missionaries and preachers to support and cooperate with it. Huzoor (aba) said: “Those who are well versed and knowledgeable and posesss vast religious knowledge should join their team,” so that responses are issued collectively from a single, coordinated platform, instead of individuals offering isolated replies.

Huzoor (aba) emphasised that tabligh today requires using wisdom when speaking as people’s tolerance for long discussions is limited. Short social media clips should be used to address contemporary issues and to remove widespread misconceptions, particularly false claims about disrespect towards the Holy Qur’an or the Holy Prophet (sa). He illustrated this with an example from Qadian where non-Ahmadis have built a mosque near Bahishti Maqbarah “... and in order to stir up discord, they invite people from other places.” When a visiting scholar listened to both mosques and travelled freely around Qadian and our historical sites, he soon realised that Ahmadis use the same Holy Qur’an and said upon viewing our Qur’an: “Your Holy Qur’an is the same as ours. The clerics have wrongfully given us the impression that Ahmadis have a different Qur’an.” He realised that misconceptions had been spread through misinformation.

Huzoor (aba) further advised that missionaries should address contemporary issues on social media and supporting a coordinated Tabligh effort, while also reminding them that success does not come from activity alone. True blessings require sincerity, prayer and steadfastness in prayer. Every task should begin with prayer and reliance on Allah and despite all challenges, constant remembrance of Allah and heartfelt supplications must remain the focus.

  • (3)  How can we [missionaries] work together with Amila members in order to motivate them?
Huzoor (aba) explained that the primary responsibilities of missionaries are tarbiyat and tabligh and both aspects should be organised and carried out properly. If these two duties are fulfilled well, this in itself is sufficient. He stated that missionaries may assist other departments of the Amila only when help is specifically requested, but they should not feel compelled to involve themselves in every task or interfere unnecessarily in the work of others.

Huzoor (aba) advised that if there is a lack of cooperation from the Secretary Tabligh or Secretary Tarbiyat, the matter should first be raised with the Sadr Jama‘at. If the issue remains unresolved, it should be escalated through the proper channels to the Markaz via the Amir Jama‘at or Missionary-in-Charge. Such concerns may also be included in monthly reports so that they reach the higher administration.

Huzoor (aba) emphasised that missionaries are members of the local Amila and should therefore raise and discuss such matters within Amila meetings, explaining them calmly and constructively. If, after this, it appears that the interests of the Jama‘at are being harmed or work is moving in the wrong direction, then reporting through official channels is appropriate.

Huzoor (aba), however, stressed that the goal is to ensure the work is carried out effectively, not to create conflict. Engaging in arguments or confrontations would only worsen matters. The true objective is reformation and missionaries should always seek ways to achieve positive reform with wisdom, patience and cooperation.

  • (4)  Allah has granted extraordinary success in this era of Khilafat. Please Huzoor kindly guide us on the means of this success.
Huzoor (aba) explained that the true means of success in this era of Khilafat lies in developing a strong and sincere relationship with Allah. He stated that whatever abilities or skills a person possesses, should be used purely for seeking Allah’s pleasure, not for personal interests or self-gain. Only with such sincerity can one become a true helper of Khilafat and of the Khalifa and when people work with pure intentions, Allah grants them further capacity and enables them to benefit from the opportunities He provides.

However, Huzoor (aba) warned that when personal interests take precedence and people become absorbed in complaints, rivalry, or pulling one another down, they harm themselves and can indirectly cause damage to the Jama’at, even though Allah’s ultimate plans will always prevail. He emphasised that negatively affecting even a single person is a serious wrongdoing and amounts to harming the community.

Huzoor (aba) reiterated that every task should be carried out solely for the pleasure of Allah the Almighty. He reminded that these principles are repeatedly mentioned in his sermons, including his current addresses on the life and character of the Holy Prophet (sa) and that these teachings are clear and well known. Huzoor (aba) concluded by stressing that believers are mature and knowledgeable and the essence of all guidance is to place faith and religion above worldly interests.

  • (5) While striving to prioritise faith over worldly matters, we face obstacles due to worldly constraints. Huzoor (aba), please kindly guide us in this regard.
Huzoor (aba) explained that when a person’s true intention is to seek the pleasure of Allah, faith naturally takes precedence over worldly matters. He emphasised repeatedly that Allah’s pleasure must always come first and warned against relying solely on material means. Quoting the Promised Messiah (as), Huzoor (aba) said: “... that you should not only rely solely on whatever means are available to you, strive to attain the pleasure of Allah the Almighty and keep the means available to you subordinate to that, otherwise you will be guilty of committing shirk. Shirk is something that is severely disliked by Allah the Almighty.”

When Allah’s pleasure is given priority, He assures that difficulties are resolved and one truly fulfils the pledge of placing faith above the world. Otherwise, a person risks breaking their pledge, for which Allah will hold them accountable in the Hereafter.

Huzoor (aba) further stated that true fear of Allah leads a believer to honour commitments sincerely and to actively strive to correct personal weaknesses. He reminded that guidance benefits only those who are interested and that continual reminders are given to awaken hearts. Huzoor (aba) mentioned about his recent Friday sermons where he has presented incidents from the life and character of the Holy Prophet (sa) and at times about the Promised Messiah (as)to inspire real action, which would lead to the moral and spiritual excellence of the Jama‘at.

Addressing the Jama‘at in France, Huzoor (aba) said that despite being small in number, they could bring about a significant spiritual transformation if they truly upheld the pledge of prioritising faith over the world. Huzoor (aba) concluded by making it clear that if worldly pursuits are given precedence, then one cannot truthfully claim to place faith above the world.

  • (6) In today’s conflict-ridden world, how should Ahmadis protect themselves from disorder and war?
Huzoor (aba) explained that for many years he has consistently warned that the world is moving towards increasing disorder and conflict, a reality that is now becoming evident. He attributed the growing instability to the failure of global systems meant to ensure justice, particularly the United Nations, where unequal powers and veto rights have undermined fairness. When justice disappears, he said, conflict inevitably spreads.

Huzoor (aba) further highlighted that the rise of self-centred leadership and the weakening of international cooperation have led nations to prioritise their own survival, resulting in the formation of competing blocs. In such an environment, powerful countries seek dominance over others, not only through war but also through indirect means, which is clearly visible today.

In response to this situation, Huzoor (aba) advised Ahmadis to remain spiritually and practically vigilant. He urged them to pray, to warn others and to intensify efforts to promote peace, even though outwardly no immediate solution appears visible. He noted that widespread destruction may ultimately drive humanity back towards faith and recognition of Allah.

Huzoor (aba) also stressed that Ahmadis must ensure they are not swept away by the turmoil of the world. He emphasised strengthening one’s relationship with Allah, remembering and constantly seeking His help. Through such devotion and acting solely for Allah’s sake, Ahmadis can not only safeguard themselves but also, to some extent, contribute to saving the world from further destruction.

  • (7)  What is predestination and can human actions impact it?
Huzoor (aba) explained that while Allah has set certain limits for human beings, He has also granted them the freedom and responsibility to act. He clarified that there is a clear distinction between Allah’s knowledge and the outcome that ultimately unfolds. Allah’s foreknowledge of a person’s actions does not mean that a person is compelled to commit good or evil.

Huzoor (aba) stated that it is not predestined that a person must commit wrongdoing, rather, Allah warns, guides and leaves room for change. Although Allah’s knowledge may encompass the consequences of sinful actions, Allah’s justice and mercy allow for forgiveness when a person turns sincerely towards righteousness. Huzoor (aba) illustrated this with the example of a man who committed numerous murders but was ultimately forgiven because he genuinely inclined towards goodness and sought Allah’s pleasure.

Huzoor (aba) emphasised that a person’s destiny can be influenced by their final actions. Therefore, adopting a gloomy attitude, such as believing one is destined to sin or to be punished, is incorrect. Allah is Most Forgiving and repentance, seeking forgiveness and moral effort can lead to a change in one’s outcome.

Huzoor (aba) further explained that human beings are accountable for their choices and have been given intellect and awareness to strive for improvement. Allah expects effort; when a person strives towards a goal, Allah determines the result. If one does not strive, that too falls within Allah’s knowledge and carries consequences.

Huzoor (aba) concluded that Allah’s decrees are not rigidly fixed in the sense people often assume. When a person reforms their thinking and actions, Allah’s decree can change. Thus, it is wrong to say that something must inevitably happen simply because it is written in destiny. Through sincere effort, repentance and righteousness, a person can come under Allah’s protection and attain His pleasure.

  • (8) Huzoor, please guide us on how we can improve our service by strengthening cooperation between Jama’at departments and auxiliary organisations?
Huzoor (aba) explained that the Jama’at and its auxiliary organisations function like the four wheels of a single system, established to move forward together in unity. Hazrat Musleh Mau‘od (ra) created the auxiliaries specifically to cooperate with the Jama’at and just as a vehicle requires all its wheels to function properly to move smoothly, the Jama’at can only progress when all departments and auxiliaries work in harmony. If even one part fails or acts independently, balance is lost and progress becomes difficult.

Huzoor (aba) emphasised that cooperation is not optional but a divine command, as Allah instructs believers to help one another in righteousness and taqwa. When the shared objective is to seek Allah’s pleasure, personal authority, dominance, or separate power structures have no place. If different departments or auxiliaries begin asserting ownership or independence, unity and cooperation inevitably break down.

Huzoor (aba) highlighted that mutual compassion and cooperation are defining characteristics of true believers and it is through embodying these qualities that the Jama’at can truly progress. Huzoor (aba) said: “One of the hallmarks of a true believer is: That they treat one another with compassion and work with cooperation. We ought to keep this mind. If we can develop this within us, then we will indeed make progress. Everyone is aware of this.” He went on to say, that while most people understand the concept of cooperation in theory, real challenges arise in putting it into practice. Therefore, he stressed that action is essential.

  • (9) How can Majlis Ansarullah office-bearers practically fulfil the slogan ‘We are the helpers of Allah?”
Huzoor (aba) explained that Majlis Ansarullah office-bearers can only truly fulfil the slogan “We are the helpers of Allah” through sincere fear of Allah and selfless service for His pleasure. Without this, the slogan remains an empty claim rather than reality. True help to the cause of Allah is demonstrated through actions, not words.

Huzoor (aba) clearly stated that no individual or group holds automatic entitlement or superiority based on origin or background. Progress in faith and service depends solely on practical effort and dedication to the mission of Ansarullah. Those who sincerely strive to serve Allah and support the Khalifa of the time will receive Allah’s blessings, while those who rely on status or slogans risk being left behind, even as the Jama‘at continues to progress.

Huzoor (aba) urged office-bearers to work with constant consciousness of Allah and to carefully fulfil the responsibilities entrusted to them. He advised regular self-evaluation, reflecting on one’s remembrance of Allah, observance of worship, fulfilment of the rights of others, performance of good deeds, efforts to increase religious knowledge and commitment to conveying Allah’s message.

Huzoor (aba) warned that neglecting worship, tabligh, moral conduct, brotherhood, and religious learning renders a person ineffective in serving the Jama‘at and its mission. Therefore, he stressed sincere action, personal accountability and continuous self-assessment. Only through such dedicated and heartfelt effort, he concluded, can Ansar truly become helpers of Allah and fulfil their noble mission.

  • (10) How can we best prepare for the Hereafter?
Huzoor (aba) explained that the best way to prepare for the Hereafter is to constantly remember Allah. When a person develops true fear of Allah and ensures that every action is carried out solely to seek His pleasure, Allah becomes pleased with them. He stated that Allah has defined two fundamental responsibilities: fulfilling the rights of Allah (Huquq-Allah) and fulfilling the rights of His creation (Huququl-Ibad). When a person strives to fulfil both obligations, Allah is pleased with them, and this is something everyone is already aware of.

Huzoor (aba) further reminded that these commandments are repeatedly mentioned in the Holy Qur’an. Therefore, one should reflect deeply upon them and make a sincere effort to put them into practice.
