How can we handle end of life discussions with families?
Huzoor(aba) advised that while doctors may sometimes suggest mercy killing, families are often emotionally attached and should try to keep the patient alive as long as possible if brain function remains and breathing capacity is at least 50-60%. Life support can be continued in such cases, but if the patient’s health completely deteriorates and they are confirmed brain-dead after monitoring for a few days, then there is no point in keeping them on life support. The focus should not be merely on prolonging life but also on maintaining its quality. Decisions should be made in consultation with the patient’s relatives and ultimately, the matter should be entrusted to Allah. Doctors should provide professional medical advice while considering the emotions of the family.
In the Holy Qur'an, it mentions that many of a person's thoughts come from the heart, what is Huzoor's (aba) view on this?
Huzoor(aba) explained that those who have had spiritual experiences often feel that a thought or feeling originates in the heart before being processed by the brain and transmitted to the rest of the body. While some may argue that thoughts originate in the brain first, Hazrat Musleh Maud(ra) presented an argument that since the heart circulates blood to the brain and the rest of the body, it plays a role in transmitting messages. Huzoor(aba) encouraged research into the role of blood circulation in sending signals to the body.
Huzoor(aba) also acknowledged that spiritual experiences are difficult to express in words but are often perceived as originating in the heart before being understood by the brain. Concluding Huzoor(aba) advised that understanding this matter requires both scientific research and personal spiritual advancement.
What is Huzoor's thoughts on using animal organs in humans?
Huzoor(aba) said: “It is a very good thing if it is used to save a human life.” He addressed concerns about using a pig's heart, explaining that if it can genuinely be used for medical purposes, there is no harm in it and emphasised that if Islam permits the consumption of pork in extreme circumstances to preserve life, the same principle can be applied here. This example, given by Allah Almighty, serves as a guideline and decisions should be made accordingly.
MEETING WITH CANADA AMILA
Huzoor's guidance regarding some Ahmadi's who use foul language on social media.
Huzoor(aba) advised that Ahmadis should be reminded that using foul language is not their way. Instead, they should respond to insults with prayer and hardship by offering comfort to others. Engaging in slander in response to slander cannot be considered Tabligh, as it removes any distinction between them and others. He emphasised that in sermons and gatherings of Khuddam, Ansarullah and Lajna, guidance should be given to encourage patience and composure when responding to others on social media. Using the same harsh language as opponents holds no benefit. Huzoor(aba) reminded that even God instructed Moses(as) to speak kindly and gently to Pharaoh, setting an example for how believers should conduct themselves.
Given that artificial intelligence is revolutionising industries and replacing jobs, what is Huzoor’s guidance on this matter?
Huzoor(aba) advised that Ahmadis should actively learn about Artificial Intelligence (Ai) and become experts in the field, contributing to its development rather than being replaced by it. He explained that Ai relies on human input and does not function independently, meaning that companies will always seek innovative minds to advance the technology and that Ahmadi Muslims should strive to be among those leading in Ai development. Huzoor(aba) highlighted how China has outperformed the U.S. in tech efficiency, demonstrating the importance of cultivating capable minds.
Huzoor(aba) encouraged Ahmadis to compete with the world in all fields of advancement so that they can ultimately help define the ethical boundaries of artificial intelligence.
How can the Jama'at establish long term planning for the future?
Huzoor(aba) explained that the objective of the Ahmadiyya Jama’at is to spread the message of Allah and His Messenger throughout the world. This requires both short-term and long-term planning. Huzoor(aba) emphasised that the Promised Messiah(as) came to bring people closer to God according to Islamic teachings and to ensure the fulfilment of mutual rights.
The Holy Qur’an outlines various rights, including those of orphans, widows, the poor and spouses, among others. Huzoor(aba) mentioned that he has previously listed many of these rights in Jalsa addresses, though there are still more to consider. He advised that the Jama’at should plan strategically to prioritise and fulfil these rights effectively while also working on ways to bring the world closer to the message of Islam.
Since priorities may vary by country, Huzoor(aba) stressed the importance of analysing each region’s specific needs and acting accordingly.
If members declare less income than they earn, what should we do in this situation?
Huzoor(aba) emphasised that local finance secretaries and Jama’at leaders should actively assess members' financial conditions and guide them accordingly. If someone’s actual income is higher than what they declare but they face financial difficulties, they should at least truthfully acknowledge their income while contributing at a level they can afford.
Huzoor(aba) noted that some individuals feel ashamed and later rectify their financial contributions, demonstrating their righteousness. However, others continue to request reductions year after year. Huzoor(aba) clarified that the Jama’at is not a tax-collecting entity but rather aims to instil a spirit of financial sacrifice. He urged missionaries, Tarbiyat secretaries, finance secretaries and Amila members to lead by example in fostering this spirit, as people are more likely to respond positively when they see sincerity and dedication.
A question was asked about Jama’ats who reduce their budgets from the previous year
Huzoor(aba) explained that a reduction in a Jama’at’s budget should not automatically be seen as a problem, as financial circumstances can fluctuate. Some individuals may have contributed more in the past but now face business declines or economic hardships, making it difficult to give at the same level. Such cases should be accepted with understanding. However, if reducing contributions becomes a habit, Jama’at officials should hold meetings with members to assess their situation with empathy and make necessary adjustments.
Huzoor(aba) emphasised that financial records should be based on truth and it is essential to analyse local economic conditions, as rising costs and job losses affect people's ability to contribute. By conducting assessments with empathy and forming teams, including Naib Umara and missionaries, improvements can be made and Allah’s blessings can be attained.
Huzoor(aba) gave the example of when he worked in the Langar Khanna, where despite planning to feed 80,000 people, food sufficed for 125,000, demonstrating Allah’s blessings. He assured that financial sacrifices rooted in righteousness will always receive divine blessings and encouraged members to strive with sincerity while trusting in Allah.

26:00 - Friday Sermon Clip, 14 February 2025 - Refutation of false allegations against the Holy Prophet(sa).
In light of increasing Islamophobia, how can we preach effectively?
Huzoor (aba) explained that the rise in Islamophobia in Germany is partly due to concerns about immigration, as some believe that immigrants rely on social welfare without contributing to society. He emphasised that Ahmadi Muslims should work and pay taxes rather than depending on government aid, following the Islamic teaching that the giving hand is better than the receiving hand. Huzoor (aba) advised that Ahmadis should focus on serving the nation rather than demanding rights.
To counter Islamophobia, Huzoor(aba) instructed the German Jama’at to actively engage in media outreach by writing articles, posting short video clips and working with a dedicated press and media team. He encouraged them to highlight the true, peaceful teachings of Islam, addressing misconceptions about women's rights, governance and social justice. Huzoor (aba) also emphasised that Ahmadis migrated due to hardships, not personal preference and reminded them of the Islamic principle that all of humanity is equal, regardless of nationality or ethnicity. He urged them to use references from the Holy Quran, Hadith and his past addresses to effectively present Islam’s true teachings.
What should we do regarding cases where families prolong marriage proposals and then end the matter after Istikhara?
Huzoor(aba) emphasised that when considering a marriage proposal, the girl’s family, in particular, should pray and seek guidance for one month or 40 days before making a decision. During this time, both the boy and girl should maintain distance, avoiding prolonged discussions or friendships, as the period is meant solely for prayer. Once the 40 days have passed, if the proposal is accepted, it should be formalised without unnecessary delays.
Huzoor(aba) also addressed complaints about engagements being confirmed and later broken due to rumours or doubts that arise after the initial decision. Often, such doubts come from undisclosed sources, causing unnecessary heartbreak. To prevent this, Huzoor(aba) advised that families should receive proper counselling beforehand and for this Huzoor(aba) established committees that also include Lajna members, to counsel both sides. Families should be informed in advance that if they choose to proceed, they must pray for 40 days and then make a firm decision. If they agree to the proposal, the contact between families should be formalised and the Nikah and wedding should follow without delay to avoid complications.
Huzoor(aba) also warned against those who habitually prolong or cancel proposals based on hearsay or mischievous interference from others. He condemned such behaviour as irresponsible and cruel, stating that those who treat marriage proposals thoughtlessly will be held accountable before Allah. Finally, Huzoor(aba) reiterated that decisions should always be made after sincere prayer.
MEETING WITH MISSIONARIES FROM GERMANY
Are the sermons that Huzoor(aba) delivers about the Holy Prophet (sa) inspired by specific guidance from God Almighty and will Huzoor(aba) deliver the same about the Promised Messiah(as) and his Companions?
Huzoor(aba) explained that when the Khalifa of the time initiates a series or an initiative, it always has a purpose. The inspiration for his sermons on the Companions of Badr came from a revelation of the Promised Messiah(as), which states: “Do not forget the event of the battle of Badr.” (ref Tadhira) Initially, Huzoor(aba) intended to speak about all the prominent Companions, but Allah placed it in his heart to focus on the Companions of Badr due to their special rank. Among them, the Holy Prophet(sa) holds the highest position, not as a companion, but as the Prophet and leader. After completing the discussions on the Companions, Huzoor(aba) then moved on to the life of the Holy Prophet(sa), highlighting his actions in battles, his responses to enemies and the exemplary conduct he demonstrated.
Regarding whether a series will begin on the Promised Messiah(as) and his Companions, Huzoor(aba) stated that only Allah the Almighty knows best. Huzoor(aba) then emphasised that people should act upon the advice given in his sermons and extract moral lessons for their own improvement, reformation or in responding to others.
Huzoor(aba)e also advised missionaries to adhere strictly to the guidance of the Khalifa of the time, ensuring that any interpretations align with what has been established in the Jama’at. If they have any points that require clarification, they should seek guidance from the Khalifa before proceeding, especially if their understanding differs from what has been stated. Acting independently without permission could lead to deviation from the system. Huzoor (aba) stressed the importance of following the Imam, as only by doing so can missionaries guide others effectively.
How can we encourage capable members to dedicate their time to the Jama'at?
Huzoor(aba) advised that missionaries should encourage members to serve the Jama’at gradually and willingly, rather than by force. They should involve them in small tasks, keeping them engaged, especially if they have expertise in a particular field. Missionaries should also guide Jama’at officeholders to seek advice from knowledgeable members, as Islam teaches that wisdom should be taken from wherever it is found.
Huzoor(aba) emphasised that Tarbiyat (moral and spiritual training) is an ongoing responsibility, particularly for those who have become distant. While those who already pray, give Chanda and attend events have largely received Tarbiyat, the real effort should be directed toward those who are less involved. Missionaries must work to reconnect them with the Jama’at.
Huzoor(aba) also reminded officeholders that they should not think they are the only ones capable of fulfilling responsibilities. Seeking counsel is essential, as even the Holy Prophet (sa) was instructed by Allah to consult others before making decisions.
In addition, Huzoor(aba) stressed that Tarbiyat requires long-term planning and personal example. Simply narrating the lives of past elders is not enough and that missionaries must demonstrate their own strong connection with Allah. When members see that their missionary sincerely seeks Allah’s guidance and receives blessings, they will naturally be more inclined to listen and follow advice.
Is true love of the Holy Prophet (sa) attained through effort, or bestowed by God Almighty?
Huzoor(aba) explained that true love for the Holy Prophet(sa) is attained through both effort and divine bestowal. He referenced the Holy Qur’an, where Allah states that those who follow and obey the Holy Prophet(sa) will be loved by Allah. The Holy Prophet(sa) himself emphasised that true love for him comes through obedience, emulating his character and adhering to his teachings.
Huzoor(aba) further stated that while Allah blesses certain individuals with this love, it is not granted to everyone automatically. Therefore, striving is essential. Allah has promised guidance to those who make an effort in His path. If love for the Prophet(sa) was purely innate, there would be no need for Tabligh (preaching), Tarbiyat (moral training), or divine commandments. Since Allah the Almighty commands people to admonish, guide and strive, it is clear that effort plays a crucial role in attaining true love for the Holy Prophet(sa).
A missionary sought Huzoor's (aba) guidance regarding Iftari arrangements during Ramadan.
Huzoor(aba) advised that if a Jama’at Iftar programme is held, the administration may arrange it, but they should also prioritise reciting the Holy Qur’an and worship. Any Iftar arrangements should remain simple and not become a distraction from spiritual obligations.
Huzoor(aba) cautioned against the growing trend of elaborate Iftar dinners in homes, where families spend the entire day preparing food and then justify delaying or combining prayers due to their gatherings and Huzoor(aba) advised against such practices.
Huzoor(aba) said at the mosque, Iftar should remain simple, providing dates and something small to break the fast, followed by the Maghrib prayer. The Langar team does not need to prepare full meals and the administrative system should not become overly occupied with these arrangements. If guests arrive, they can be served dates and water, with perhaps some simple items like samosas or pakoras from the Langar Khana. Attendees can then go home for their dinner.

23:57 - Friday Sermon Clip, 21 February 2025 - Hazrat Musleh Mau’ud’s (ra) vision for a successful Pakistan.
How can we resolve conflicts within our families?
Huzoor(aba) advised that an Ahmadi Muslim should never engage in conflict with their brethren, for discord has no place among true believers. If any matter of contention arises, it should be resolved with wisdom, patience, and amicability.
Huzoor(aba) said that Hazrat Masih Ma’oud (as) has beautifully stated in one of his couplets:
"Think of yourself as inferior to everyone else;
Perchance, thereby, you may enter the abode of Divine Union."
Thus, a believer should adopt humility in their heart and mind, for such humbleness may lead them to the pleasure of Allah the Almighty and draw them closer to Him. The ultimate objective of a true believer should be nearness to their Lord, and such an aspiration leaves no room for disputes over trivial matters.
Huzoor(aba) said Allah the Almighty has commanded in the Holy Qur’an: "Believers are compassionate towards one another." (Holy Qur’an 48:30)
Huzoor(aba) concluded by saying that one must strive to cultivate humility, love and kindness in their interactions with others. If this practice is sincerely adopted, peace and harmony will prevail among family members and loved ones.
Is it better to live in a costly area close to a Mosque or further away?
Huzoor(aba) advised that if one is able to attend the mosque for Friday prayers, weekend classes and other programs for children, Khuddam, and Ansar, then it is permissible to live at a greater distance. One should consider their workplace and the costs of travel before making such a decision.
If a person can afford to reside further away while maintaining a strong connection with the mosque, then there is no harm in doing so. However, if living close to the mosque results in constant financial strain, leaving no time for worship or religious upbringing, then it is better to live in a more affordable area.
Ultimately, every individual must assess their own circumstances, keeping in mind that the primary goal should be to ensure that both they and their children remain attached to the mosque and headquarters.
Is it considered disobedience to have an opinion that differs from the Khalifa?
Huzoor(aba) explained that differences in historical and theoretical matters are natural, as they are based on various sources and perspectives. It is permissible to hold differing views on such matters. However, if the Khalifa of the time makes a categorical decision, provides evidence and presents logical reasoning to support his stance, then it is better to accept his view.
Huzoor(aba) emphasised that if someone holds a differing opinion, they should write to the Khalifa with their evidence rather than spreading their view within the Jama’at and claiming that the Khalifa was mistaken. Doing so can lead to disorder. If the Khalifa finds the argument valid, he may accept it; otherwise, if he refutes it with proof, one should accept his decision.
Huzoor(aba) gave the example of Hazrat Mirza Bashir Ahmad (ra), an esteemed historian and scholar, who at times had differing views from Hazrat Khalifatul Masih II (ra). He would write to the Khalifa, and after receiving a final response rejecting his opinion, he would completely abandon his own view and adopt the Khalifa’s perspective. This, he said, brought him peace of mind. Such an approach preserves the unity of the Community and strengthens its foundations.
How long should a new couple wait before having children?
Huzoor(aba) said: "I am against this concept that you should wait to have children. As soon as you get married, you should try to make a family so that you will know your responsibility. When you will become a father, you will become aware of the responsibilities of a father. So you have to fulfil those responsibilities. And this is the Islamic teaching that when you get married, you should make a family.”
Is it permissible to enhance a person's intellect through Ai?
Huzoor(aba) explained that using Ai as an aid in work or intellectual pursuits is permissible, provided it does not lead one away from fundamental religious teachings. Ai can be beneficial, especially for those who require assistance in resolving complex matters, much like seeking help from another person.
However, Huzoor(aba) cautioned that Ai is only as reliable as the information it has been programmed with. Experts acknowledge that Ai can sometimes provide incorrect answers, yet people may still accept them without question. If Ai promotes ideas that detract from faith, then it should not be followed. Ultimately, if Ai is used for the betterment of humanity and does not interfere with one’s religious beliefs, then there is no harm in utilising it.
Is it permissible to take steroids for body building?
Huzoor(aba) stated that the use of illegal steroids for bodybuilding is prohibited and that even in professional competitions like the Olympics, athletes who use steroids are disqualified and their awards are revoked if their use is later discovered. Since such substances are deemed illegal worldwide, they should also be considered impermissible.
Huzoor(aba) emphasised that bodybuilding should be pursued to strengthen and maintain fitness, not by artificially enhancing performance through steroids, which ultimately weaken the body. Over time, steroid use leads to harmful side effects that negatively impact one’s health.
Instead, Huzoor(aba) said one should rely on their natural strength and gradually build endurance through regular exercise. Increasing weights progressively, as the body naturally adjusts, is a healthy approach. However, using steroids merely to lift heavier weights or to impress others is futile and can cause long-term harm. Since there is no real benefit in such practices, they should be avoided.
What is Huzoor's (aba) perspective on robotics and Ai?
Huzoor(aba) replied: “Any technology which is beneficial for a human being is good, whether it is AI or robot. Even now, there are quite a number of doctors who are doing their operation with robots. I can see that although robots or Ai is helping you, but it can also decrease the mental capability and capacity of your mind. The level of intelligence can become low because you are relying on AI. You can take help from AI or robots, but do not completely rely on them.”
How can one maintain a balance between leaving a matter to Allah and continuing to make human efforts?
Huzoor(aba) explained that true trust in Allah requires a person to first make full use of their abilities, resources and efforts before leaving the matter to Him. One cannot neglect their responsibilities and simply claim reliance on Allah.
For example, a student must study diligently, strive to understand their material and use their full capabilities before entrusting the outcome to Allah. Merely covering half of the course and expecting divine assistance is not true trust in Him.
Huzoor(aba) narrated an incident from the time of the Holy Prophet(sa), in which a man left his camel untied outside the mosque, believing that his trust in Allah would protect it. When the camel went missing, the Holy Prophet(sa) explained that true trust means taking all necessary precautions such as tying the camel before leaving the matter to Allah.
Huzoor(aba) concluded by saying that a believer must utilise their intelligence, skills and efforts to the best of their ability and then place their trust in Allah. Simply leaving matters unfinished and expecting divine intervention is not the correct understanding of reliance on Him.
MEETING WITH GROUP OF AHMADIS FROM St CATHERINE"S JAMAAT IN CANADA
How important is the Amila meeting that we hold every month? If we do not do it, what is the harm?
Huzoor(aba) emphasised that the importance of the monthly Amila meeting depends on its purpose and effectiveness. If the meeting is used for planning, identifying weaknesses, making future strategies, improving efforts and sharing beneficial experiences, then it holds great value. Departmental Secretaries should ensure that these objectives are being met.
However, Huzoor(aba) said if the meeting serves no meaningful purpose, then it becomes futile. A believer should ensure that every action has wisdom and benefit; otherwise, it is of no use. He also advised that prayers should be offered before the meeting, seeking Allah’s guidance so that the discussions are filled with wisdom and bring benefit to both the participants and the wider Jama’at.

KHUDDAM SERVING IN THE HIFAZAT-E-KHAAS MULAQAT WITH HUZOOR(aba)
Hifazat-e-Khaas is a specialised security team composed mainly of dedicated volunteers. Its primary responsibility is to ensure the safety and security of the Khalifa and the institution of Khilafat.
Members of Hifazat-e-Khaas are often drawn from Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya and are tasked with maintaining order, assisting in security arrangements during events and ensuring a respectful and secure environment for the Khalifa. Their role is not only about physical security but also about upholding discipline and devotion to Khilafat, serving with sincerity and humility for the sake of Allah.
At the beginning of the session, Huzoor (aba) explained the true purpose of Hifazat-e-Khaas:
Huzoor(aba) reminded the members of Germany’s Hifazat-e-Khaas that the duty of Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya is to establish a strong bond with Khilafat and assist in its responsibilities. He emphasised that the primary objective of Hifazat-e-Khaas is general security and the protection of Khilafat, which is a shared responsibility of Khuddam.
Huzoor(aba) further advised them to undertake their duties solely for the love of Allah, rather than seeking worldly recognition, proximity to the Khalifa, or to display dedication. He assured them that if they work with sincerity for the sake of Allah, they will receive blessings and rewards from Him.
Whilst serving the Jama'at, how can one be saved from arrogance?
Huzoor(aba) advised that to avoid arrogance while serving the Jama’at, one should not seek self-promotion but serve solely for the pleasure of Allah. Whether safeguarding the Khalifa or fulfilling any other responsibility, the focus must always be on attaining Allah’s pleasure.
Huzoor(aba) referenced a saying of the Holy Prophet(sa), in which Allah states that those who love others for His sake and express their love for one another are granted blessings and acceptance. Therefore, one must constantly remember Allah, as every action, word and deed is seen and heard by Him.
Huzoor(aba) emphasised that merely serving in Hifazat-e-Khaas or any Jama’at role does not automatically bring one closer to Allah. The true purpose of life is to worship Him. He urged members to self-reflect, particularly on whether they are observing their five daily prayers, as true security lies in safeguarding Allah’s commandments.
Huzoor(aba) concluded that when one seeks Allah’s pleasure and fulfils His rights, their efforts will be blessed. The best form of security is to first protect one’s own soul by building a strong connection with Allah and fulfilling the duty of worship.
What should one do when they are not content with their standard of righteousness?Huzoor(aba) advised that if one is not content with their standard of righteousness, they should frequently recite Istighfar (seeking forgiveness), La Hawl (“There is no power nor strength except with Allah”) and Durood Sharif (invoking blessings on the Holy Prophet(sa)).
Huzoor(aba) encouraged offering voluntary prayers (Nawafil) in solitude and sincerely supplicating to Allah. Engaging in the remembrance of Allah will help in attaining acceptance of prayers and will remove feelings of distress and restlessness.
Huzoor(aba) also cautioned against praying merely to be seen by others and recommended praying privately to strengthen sincerity. He assured that by remaining engaged in the remembrance of Allah, one’s inner turmoil will be eased by His grace.
Jews will be given three opportunities, despite which they will not reform themselves. What kind of punishment will they receive?
Huzoor(aba) clarified that it is not stated that the Jews will not reform themselves, but rather that they will be given opportunities to do so. If they fail to correct their behaviour and continue disobeying Allah’s commandments while committing injustices, their lands will be taken away from them, as has happened historically, such as during the era of Nebuchadnezzar and other periods of confiscation.
Huzoor(aba) explained that they are now experiencing a third opportunity. If they govern justly and within moral limits, their rule will remain. However, if they persist in injustices and cruelty, Allah will create conditions that will lead to their downfall.
Huzoor(aba) referenced Hazrat Musleh Mau’od’s(ra) commentary on Surah Bani Isra'il and Surah Al-Anbiya, which elaborates on this subject. He emphasised that their removal will not come through military force but through prayers and Divine support. Huzoor(aba) said that while the exact timing is unknown and history shows that such changes take time, possibly even centuries, but it will certainly happen according to Allah’s decree.
Sometimes the work of an office bearer is not considered satisfactory by others. What should one do in this situation?
Huzoor(aba) advised that an office bearer should focus on fulfilling their duties sincerely for the pleasure of Allah, as His satisfaction is the most important. Pleasing people without pleasing Allah is meaningless and seeking recognition from others, including the Khalifa or Jama'at leaders, serves no purpose. If Allah is satisfied, then everything is fine and any trials faced will be rewarded by Him.
Huzoor(aba) emphasised that office bearers should work with pure intentions, pray, give alms and follow their guidelines. If a superior gives an instruction that seem contrary to Jama’at traditions and teachings, they should report it to their higher authority or the headquarters (Markaz) to resolve the matter.
Righteousness must be the foundation of the Jama’at, as without justice, there is no difference between Ahmadis and non-Ahmadis. Office bearers must first reform themselves and if they witness wrongdoing, report it properly.
If the issue remains unresolved locally or nationally, they should write to the headquarters. Once they have reported the matter, their responsibility is fulfilled and any negligence falls upon those who failed to address the issue.
LAJNA FROM THE MTA PLANNING DEPARTMENT MEET HUZOOR(aba)
The following day, the Lajna from the MTA Planning Department had the honour of meeting with Huzoor(aba) seeking his advice regarding their roles and responsibilities.During the meeting, Huzoor(aba) stated that, by the Grace of Allah, the Lajna planning team was working well and that the Lajna should always strive to play their role in the continuous progress and development of MTA International.
