  10. How should Ahmadi Muslims respond to the rise in anti-Islam sentiments?

  • (1) What advice does Huzoor (aba) have for a young Khadim?
Huzoor (aba) advised that a young Khadim should remain regular in the five daily prayers and read the Holy Qur’an every day. He emphasised avoiding indecent programs or inappropriate content on social media and online platforms and developing a dislike for such things. Huzoor (aba) explained that Allah has promised that those who pray regularly are protected from wrongdoing and that sincere worship becomes a shield against evil.

Huzoor (aba) said: “...if you were a good Tifl in the past, then you should continue with the same habits and try to be a good Khadim.”

Huzoor (aba) also cautioned that many youths, upon turning sixteen, begin to feel overly independent and assume they know more than their parents or elders. A Khadim should not fall into this way of thinking but should should follow the teachings of the Holy Qur’an, strive for piety, avoid bad influences, offer all five prayers, preferably in congregation and maintain daily Tilawat.

  • (2) Advice for students wanting wanting to research on curing cancer and particularly the use of honey.
Huzoor (aba) advised that students researching cures for cancer or studying foods mentioned in the Qur’an and Ahadith, such as honey, should remember that Allah commands believers to consume what is pure and halal. He explained that every pure food (tayyib) carries benefit and the Qur’an specifically highlights healing qualities in honey, including the potential to help with diseases like cancer.

Huzoor (aba) noted that many Ahmadi scientists are already researching honey and students are encouraged to do the same. He explained that because honeybees gather nectar from specific flowers, each type of honey can have different medicinal effects. This makes it possible to identify which varieties may be most effective for cancer, blood disorders, or other illnesses.

Huzoor (aba) also referenced an incident from the life of the Holy Prophet (sa), who instructed a man with stomach issues to take honey repeatedly, emphasising that Allah’s guidance is true even if individual reactions vary,  but in this case the honey did not work for the stomach issue. Huzoor (aba) said: “...sometimes there are some different kinds of honeys which can cure different diseases. It is quite possible that there might be some type of honeys which are not good for your stomach but good for cancer or for blood disease.” Huzoor (aba) said this demonstrates that different honeys may treat different conditions, so researchers must study and distinguish their unique properties.

  • (3) How can a Khadim self motivate themself to become closer to Allah?
Huzoor (aba) explained that just as a person is motivated to work hard for a good future or to excel in their studies, a Khadim should be motivated by love for Allah to strive for closeness to Him. He emphasised that Allah instructs believers to struggle and to follow His commandments, and the foundation of this effort is offering the five daily prayers with deep sincerity.

Huzoor (aba) said that a Khadim should fervently pray for guidance and for Allah to place a strong desire in his heart to grow in devotion. Just as one works hard for worldly goals, he must also work hard spiritually. Allah promises in the Qur’an that those who strive will be guided to the right path. Therefore, by consistently offering prayers, obeying Allah’s commandments and maintaining sincere effort, a Khadim will be guided towards nearness to Allah.

  • (4) For Waqifeen-e-Nau who wish to dedicate their lives, how should they manage that desire with external pressures?
Huzoor (aba) said: “If you have a desire to do Waqf, and then you should just do it.” He explained that if a Waqf-e-Nau sincerely wishes to dedicate their life, they should go ahead and pursue it. However, if they feel conflicted or worried, especially about supporting their parents, they may choose to work and earn while seeking Allah’s guidance. Huzoor (aba) reminded them that Allah Himself is the Provider and sustains everyone, so they should pray and seek contentment in whatever decision they make.

Huzoor (aba) added that it is not guaranteed that the Jama’at will accept every Waqf. Sometimes the Jama’at requires specialists such as missionaries, doctors, or engineers. Therefore, it may be better for some to continue their professional work while still fulfilling their responsibilities as Waqf-e-Nau.

Huzoor (aba) emphasised that the core duties of a Waqf-e-Nau are to offer the five daily prayers, read and understand the Holy Qur’an, study Jama’at literature and the books of the Promised Messiah (as), listen to the guidance of Khulafa and engage in good deeds. By giving their spare time to serve the Jama’at, they can fulfil the spirit of Waqf while also supporting their parents and their own families.

  • (5) How can we ensure our job success is used for Allah's pleasure?
Huzoor (aba) explained that a person can use their professional success for the pleasure of Allah by earning honestly, following Allah’s commandments and spending their wealth not only on themselves but also on orphans, the needy and for the service of the Jama’at.

Huzoor (aba) said that such charitable spending attracts Allah’s blessings, multiplies one’s wealth in a spiritual sense and protects a person from developing greed. By feeling the pain of others and sacrificing from one’s earnings after meeting personal needs, a believer earns Allah’s pleasure and safeguards their heart from selfishness.

  •  (6) How can we guide Khuddam who have become distant?
Huzoor (aba) explained that guiding Khuddam who have grown distant requires personal, sincere and friendly engagement and not just formal Jama’at interaction. He said every Khadim should have at least one Ahmadi friend who maintains a connection with him and said: “You should keep a connection with him, bring him closer, speak to him, and try to remove whatever grievances or misunderstandings he may have.” Just as one would try to reform a brother with genuine pain and concern, Khuddam should make similar heartfelt efforts and pray for those who have drifted away.

Huzoor (aba) noted that sometimes misunderstandings arise because of negative experiences with office-bearers, or because some people, even from within well-established Jama’at families, form an unrealistic ideal of how every office-bearer should behave. When someone encounters a person who does not meet that imagined standard, they may wrongly assume the entire Jama’at is flawed. Huzoor (aba) explained that even during the time of the Holy Prophet (sa), there were good and bad individuals and one should not judge the truth of a message by the shortcomings of a few.

Huzoor (aba) emphasised that office-bearers must remain humble and Khuddam should explain matters with empathy and concern. When approached with kindness and sincerity, families realise that the Jama’at truly cares for them. Alongside this, heartfelt prayers should be made for those who have become distant.

  • (7) Should Ahmadis move to areas without an existing Jama’at or settle where the Jama’at is already established?
Huzoor (aba) explained that families with young children should prioritise living in areas where the Jama’at is already established and where a mosque is nearby, so their children can receive proper moral and spiritual upbringing. However, those whose children have grown up, or individuals living on their own, may choose to move to new areas to help establish the Jama’at and perform Tabligh.

Huzoor (aba) emphasised that every family’s circumstances are different, so no single rule can apply to everyone. Each person should assess their own situation and decide what is best for their family. If children’s upbringing is the priority, they should live near an established Jama’at; if that concern no longer applies, then moving to new areas can be beneficial. Huzoor (aba) reminded that Allah has given everyone intelligence, and they should use it to decide wisely.

  • (8) How can Ahmadi youth stay connected to Allah and Khilafat despite modern distractions?
Huzoor (aba) explained that many Ahmadi youth become disconnected from Allah and Khilafat because they are constantly exposed to worldly attractions like social media, TV, useless online content and excessive gaming. After work or school, spending long hours on phones and tablets leads to distraction, affects studies in a bad way and even causes some to lose their jobs. He said the first step is to make them realise that such activities are vain and that Allah has commanded believers to avoid what is futile. This is an important responsibility of the Tarbiyat Department.

Huzoor (aba) instructed: “If you learn that someone has become distracted, rather than defaming them amongst the people and spreading negative publicity about them, consider them as your brothers, conceal their shortcoming and strive to bring them closer and enquire of them.”. When youth feel genuinely cared for, they are more likely to return.

Huzoor (aba) stressed that this is a major challenge for Khuddamul Ahmadiyya and all Jama’at office-bearers, who must treat each youth as if they were a close relative and provide a positive environment. He noted that many young people still have goodness in their hearts; they are emotionally moved when meeting him but fall back into old habits because the right environment is missing. Active Khuddam can create that environment and help bring them back.

  • (9) What are the best Surahs from the Holy Qur’an to recite?
Huzoor (aba) said that the best Surah to recite is Surah Al-Fatiha, as it contains all the essential elements of a believer’s moral and spiritual training. In this Surah, a person repeatedly asks Allah to guide them on the right path and this constant prayer is central to one’s tarbiyat.

Huzoor (aba) advised that one should not only recite Surah Al-Fatiha but also read its translation and if possible, study its commentary in the Jama’at’s published Tafsir. By reflecting deeply on its meanings, a person develops a greater understanding of Islam and its teachings, and recognises the profound importance of this Surah in guiding them toward righteousness.

  • (10) How should Ahmadi Muslims respond to the rise in anti-Islam sentiments?
Huzoor (aba) explained that when anti-Islam sentiments and abusive comments appear on social media, Ahmadis should not respond with hostility but should ignore such behaviour and remain firmly grounded in their faith. He said they must stay committed to offering the five daily prayers and avoid being affected by what others say. Instead, they should deepen their knowledge of Islam, understanding its teachings, the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (sa) and the reasons behind their identity as Ahmadi Muslims.

Huzoor (aba) emphasised that claims alone are not enough; Ahmadi Muslims must practise true Islamic teachings. By showing good conduct and living Islam’s values, people will naturally notice the difference and become curious, opening doors for Tabligh. Huzoor (aba) said: “...you should also try to explore more avenues for preaching to inform those people who do not know much Islam.” He said that anti-Islam sentiments often arise from misconceptions spread by opponents who highlight extremists and militants as examples of Muslims. Ahmadis should clarify that such behaviour has nothing to do with the true teachings of Islam, which are peace, love, harmony and mutual respect.

Huzoor (aba) encouraged Ahmadis to spread the true message of Islam through their character and through Tabligh efforts such as distributing pamphlets. He said this is a great challenge, but by portraying real Islamic values and engaging positively, Ahmadis can effectively counter negative views.

9 questions were asked during the meeting with Khuddam from the Virginian region, USA.
  1. What can we do if we are wronged by our close relatives?
  2. How can we deal with bullying in school, in line with Islamic teachings?
  3. Please relate some memories of your paternal grandmother, Hazrat Bu Zainab Sahiba (ra).
  4. Should we celebrate the birthday of the Holy Prophet (sa)?
  5. What is the advice for Ahmadi's interested in public service?
  6. What is Huzoor's (aba) view on children having mobile phones?
  7. How would I know that my prayer has been heard by Allah?
  8. How can we save ourselves from the ills and addiction of social media?
  9. How can we strengthen our faith?

  • (1) What can we do if we are wronged by our close relatives?
Huzoor (aba) explained that when a person is wronged by close relatives, they should pray for them, asking Allah to grant them understanding and also pray for themselves to remain steadfast. He advised approaching relatives directly to understand the reason for the hardship and to seek a way to resolve it through dialogue and mutual harmony. Emphasising Qur’anic teachings and the sayings of the Holy Prophet (sa), Huzoor (aba) highlighted that believers are brothers who should treat one another with mercy, unity and affection. He cautioned that separation only allows others to exploit disputes and concluded by saying: “So do not get angry, rather cultivate the habit of reconciliation.”

  • (2) How can we deal with bullying in school, in line with Islamic teachings?
Huzoor (aba) advised that when facing bullying at school, one should respond with calmness, love and gentleness rather than anger or harshness. He explained that any wrongdoing by individuals does not reflect the true teachings of Islam, which are based on love, compassion and good morals and this should be politely explained to the bully. Huzoor(aba) stated to say to the bully: “Even after hearing this, if you still wish to bully me, then that is your choice, you may do so.” “When you confront such a person directly with love and with gentleness, not harshly, then they will become embarrassed themselves.” highlighting that confrontation with kindness often causes the bully to feel ashamed.

Huzoor (aba) also stressed the importance of ignoring those who are brazen and not letting fear control one’s actions, reminding that: “Fine, you are responsible for your own actions and I am responsible for my own actions. I won’t say anything to you. The reason is because my teaching is that one should speak gently.” He recommended clearly presenting Islam’s true teachings, such as caring for people, helping orphans, giving in charity and maintaining good morals, while leaving it to the individual whether to accept them, and maintaining faith in Islam regardless of others’ behaviour.

  • (3) Please relate some memories of your paternal grandmother, Hazrat Bu Zainab Sahiba (ra).
Huzoor (aba) recalled that his paternal grandmother, Hazrat Bu Zainab Sahiba (ra), was a pure-hearted and deeply pious person who never held grudges and treated children with great love and compassion. He remembered sleeping in her room at times and witnessing her regular Tahajjud prayers, during which her heartfelt supplications would often awaken him. In those prayers, she consistently sought Allah’s mercy, grace, and goodness for others, repeatedly saying, “May Allah have Mercy, may Allah bestow His Grace, and may Allah grant goodness.” He also noted that she always offered gentle guidance and advice and that he received from her the same warmth, affection and care that grandmothers typically show to their grandchildren.

  • (4) Should we celebrate the birthday of the Holy Prophet (sa)?
Huzoor (aba) explained that celebrating Eid Milad-un-Nabi was not practiced by the Holy Prophet (sa), his Companions, or during the era of the Rightly Guided Caliphs and that it became a custom in certain regions at a later time. He clarified that when opposition to Islam increased, Hazrat Khalifatul Masih II (ra) introduced gatherings to honour the Holy Prophet (sa) by presenting his life and noble character, but this was meant to be done throughout the year, not limited to a single day.

Huzoor (aba) emphasised that true commemoration lies in keeping the example of the Holy Prophet (sa) alive in one’s conduct and actions, stating that “...this should be done throughout the year and not that you celebrate one day and then sleep for the rest of the year.” He further cautioned that mere celebrations without reflection or practice are meaningless, stressing that: “There is no need for a single special day.”

  • (5) What is the advice for Ahmadi's interested in public service?
Huzoor (aba) advised that Ahmadis interested in public service should focus on countering political polarisation by presenting the true teachings of Islam, which are rooted in peace, love, harmony and justice. He emphasised using one’s circle of influence to explain Islam’s principles of caring for the poor and orphans, ending conflict and establishing absolute justice, without turning this into formal preaching.

Huzoor (aba) highlighted that Islam teaches loyalty to one’s country and peaceful citizenship, reminding others that “Islam teaches that love for one’s country is part of one’s faith.” Huzoor (aba) concluded by saying: “The real background behind this is simply an anti-Islamic agenda. And to counter this, we must create awareness of what Islam’s true teachings are. We must make efforts for this. This is the major challenge for us. Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya should work on this; Ansarullah as well and the Jama’at, and Lajna too.”

  • (6) What is Huzoor's (aba) view on children having mobile phones?
Huzoor (aba) said: “I have been saying for quite some time that children’s screen time on mobile phones, iPads or similar devices should be limited, as these things impact their vision as well as their mentality.” He noted that even schools and governments around the world are increasingly recognising these dangers and are introducing restrictions. He advised parents to clearly explain to their children that such devices have more harm and less benefit and can impact on their vision and mentality.

Huzoor (aba) also questioned the necessity of children having phones at all. He further emphasised that if children do use screens, their time should be carefully controlled, stating that “...their screen time should be no more than an hour per day,” while making them aware that the wider world is also acknowledging the harmful effects of excessive screen use.

  • (7) How would I know that my prayer has been heard by Allah?
Huzoor (aba) explained that a person recognises their prayers being heard by first striving to live according to Allah’s commandments, especially by becoming regular in offering the five daily prayers and abstaining from wrongdoing. He emphasised that prayer must be accompanied by sincere effort, as faith requires both hard work and supplication.

Using his own experience as a student, Huzoor (aba) illustrated that persistent, heartfelt prayer combined with effort brings Allah’s help, even if the outcome is delayed. He stressed that Allah promises results when a person strives and prays, stating that “hard work and prayer – you need both things” and reminding that if you make an effort then He will give you the fruits of those efforts.

  • (8) How can we save ourselves from the ills and addiction of social media?
Huzoor (aba) elaborated that freedom from the evils and addiction of social media begins with recognising that people are already fully aware of its harms, yet still choose to indulge in it. He explained that this awareness places a responsibility on individuals to exercise willpower and self-discipline, as continuing despite knowing the damage is a serious moral failing. He highlighted that excessive social media use wastes valuable time, harms spiritual development, negatively affects businesses and productivity and gradually pollutes the mind through exposure to immoral and obscene content.

Referring to Qur’anic guidance, Huzoor (aba) reminded that believers are commanded to “...shun all that which is vain,” and stressed that most online content falls into this category. He also said: “There is profanity to no limit on these platforms. I’ve observed that even while watching video reels by MTA or the Jama’at, if you scroll slightly lower, there are vulgar films and videos beneath. Thus, a person does not benefit from the Jama’at’s content and begins to watch the vulgar content. As a result, the mind becomes polluted.”

Huzoor (aba) further warned that once a person begins scrolling, they move endlessly from one clip to another, becoming trapped in addiction, because “...these vices beget more vices.” To safeguard oneself, he advised limiting usage strictly to what is necessary, reciting Istighfar, and praying for Allah’s protection, alongside developing strong resolve. He also pointed out that even worldly governments now recognise these dangers and are imposing restrictions on children, showing that the problem is widely acknowledged.

Huzoor (aba) placed particular emphasis on the role of parents, explaining that children naturally imitate what they see at home. If parents are constantly occupied with their devices, children will follow the same habits, leading to emotional distance and breakdown of family bonds. He cautioned that when families sit together yet remain absorbed in their phones, one’s family relations break down and parents lose the opportunity to guide their children in faith, morals, and prayer. Therefore, he urged parents to model restraint themselves, teach proper etiquette and prioritise meaningful interaction so that homes remain spiritually and morally strong.

  • (9) How can we strengthen our faith?
Huzoor (aba) explained that strengthening one’s faith begins with sincere prayer, asking Allah the Almighty to increase it and consistently reciting the supplication of Surah Al-Fatihah, seeking guidance on the right path. He emphasised that Allah grants guidance when a person turns to Him with sincerity. Alongside this, he stressed the importance of safeguarding the five daily prayers by offering them on time, as they are a fundamental command of Allah.

Huzoor (aba) further advised regular recitation of the Holy Qur’an with reflection and understanding, explaining that merely claiming faith without knowing Islamic teachings or what Allah requires is insufficient. To deepen faith, he encouraged seeking religious knowledge by studying the Qur’an and reading Jama‘at literature, particularly the writings of the Promised Messiah (as), such as The Essence of Islam. He concluded that faith is strengthened through a combination of prayer, worship and the continuous pursuit of religious knowledge.

  • (1) Why were animals created?
Huzoor (aba) explained that Allah the Almighty has created nothing without purpose. While human beings were created as the most noble of creation, the rest of creation, including animals, was made for their benefit. Animals serve humanity in various ways, such as providing food and transport. Beyond these apparent benefits, there exist more subtle and profound dimensions to their creation. Many animals have been created as a means of cure and treatment. Certain substances derived from animals, including snake venoms, have been utilised in medical and homoeopathic sciences for the treatment of human ailments. Even processes observed in nature, such as the renewal seen in particular creatures, carry lessons and utilities for human health and knowledge. Huzoor (aba) emphasised that every created thing, be it animals, trees, mountains, or stones, has been fashioned for human benefit, either directly or indirectly.

Therefore, humans ought to acknowledge Allah’s favour, benefit from His creation lawfully and ethically and reflect upon the profound wisdom embedded within the natural world.

  • (2) How can we get closer to Allah the Almighty and become the delight of the eyes of the Khalifa?
Huzoor (aba) explained that closeness to Allah the Almighty is attained through obedience to His commandments and by becoming truly grateful servants. Gratitude is shown through regular worship, especially by offering the five daily prayers, caring for others, helping the poor, and upholding high moral standards. When a person lives according to these teachings, Allah bestows His grace and draws them closer to Himself.

Huzoor (aba) further stated that the Holy Prophet (sa) brought about a profound moral and spiritual transformation in his Companions and in this age, the Promised Messiah (as) was sent to revive those same teachings, leading to the establishment of the Jama‘at. By acting upon the Holy Qur’an, following the example of the Holy Prophet (sa) and striving to fulfil the mission of the Promised Messiah (as) in spreading the true message of Islam, a believer becomes a good Ahmadi Muslim. Such obedience and dedication, Huzoor (aba) explained, is what makes a person the “delight of the eyes of the Khalifa” of the time.

  • (3) How can one alleviate feelings of anxiety?
Huzoor (aba) explained that anxiety can be alleviated through the remembrance of Allah and regular prayer. He advised following the practice taught by the Holy Prophet (sa), such as reciting Ayat al-Kursi and the three “Quls” [(Surah al-Ikhlas, al-Falaq and an-Nas] before sleeping, reflecting on their meanings and seeking Allah’s protection from evil and misfortune. This spiritual focus helps dispel worries and brings peace of mind.

Huzoor (aba) further stated that the Isha prayer provides an opportunity in the evening to pray for relief from worldly concerns, enabling restful sleep. Waking for Tahajjud and maintaining constant remembrance of Allah leads to inner satisfaction, as Allah has promised tranquillity of the heart to those who remember Him. ["Aye! it is in the remembrance of Allah that hearts can find comfort; (Ch.13 V.29)]

  • (4) Out of love for Huzoor (aba), it is our desire that we become like Huzoor (aba) in one aspect or another, whether it is through the attire we wear or the way we speak. However, some people taunt saying that we are trying to become the Khalifa of the time.
Huzoor (aba) explained that if one’s intention is pure and based on love, there is no harm in adopting aspects of the Khalifa’s attire or manner of speaking. He referenced the guidance of the Promised Messiah (as), who stated that people imitate according to the level of love they have and that such imitation is natural and acceptable.

However, Huzoor (aba) emphasised that true imitation must go beyond outward appearance. The real purpose of imitation is to follow the guidance, teachings and instructions of the Khalifa. Simply copying external habits while neglecting essential responsibilities, such as praying or acting on moral and spiritual guidance, is wrong. True imitation lies in striving to fulfil the objectives of Khilafat and sincerely acting upon what the Khalifa calls people towards.

  • (5) How can we focus on our spirituality in the midst of our worldly engagements?
Huzoor (aba) explained that maintaining spirituality amid worldly engagements requires giving prayer due importance and proper attention. He emphasised that prayers should not be rushed, as doing so shows preference for worldly matters over Allah. Drawing on the example of the Holy Prophet (sa) [see link for details], Huzoor (aba) highlighted that true prayer must be offered slowly, with concentration, humility, glorification of Allah and heartfelt supplication, rather than being reduced to mere physical movements.

Huzoor (aba) further stated that sincere supplication emerges when one consciously balances worldly responsibilities with religious obligations. Citing the example of Hazrat Chaudhry Zafrullah Khan (ra) during a meeting with Queen Elizabeth II [see link for details], Huzoor (aba) illustrated that prioritising prayer, even in the most demanding worldly settings, earns respect and blessings. He concluded that approaching Allah with the same seriousness and care one shows in worldly matters is essential for true spirituality, as Allah’s pleasure cannot be attained through hurried and inattentive worship.

  • (6) Will non-Ahmadis be held accountable on the day of judgement regarding their belief of the death of Hazrat Isa (as)?
Huzoor (aba) explained that Allah has clearly stated in the Holy Qur’an the Oneness of God and that Hazrat Isa (as) was a human being, not the son of God and that associating partners with Allah is a grave sin. The Promised Messiah (as) established through numerous Qur’anic verses that Hazrat Isa (as) has passed away, as no human being is exempt from death. Holding the belief that Jesus (as) is still alive in the heavens ultimately supports Christian doctrine, which is incorrect.

Huzoor (aba) further stated that Allah alone knows how non-Ahmadis will be held accountable for their beliefs. He noted that even among Muslim scholars, many now acknowledge that Hazrat Isa (as) has passed away and will not return. However, some still reject the Promised Messiah (as) out of stubbornness despite clear Qur’anic and Hadith evidence that a Messiah would appear in the latter days. Ultimately, Huzoor (aba) emphasised that accountability rests with Allah, Who will judge people according to the clarity of the truth made available to them.

  • (7) What is the significance of the religious experiences of non-Muslims?
Huzoor (aba) explained that followers of other religions sometimes claim spiritual experiences, such as seeing or feeling a connection with Jesus (as) and these experiences strengthen their attachment to their faith. Islam acknowledges Jesus (as) as a true prophet of Allah and recognises that many prophets were sent to different nations - 124,000 prophets in number.

Such personal experiences do not necessarily invalidate Islam, nor do they prove the finality of another religion, as they can often be influenced by psychological factors and deep emotional attachment.

Huzoor (aba) emphasised that even within the Bible, Jesus (as) foretold the coming of another prophet and many earlier prophets prophesied the advent of a final prophet who would encompass and complete previous teachings. Therefore, Muslims should accept Jesus (as), but instead affirm his prophethood while explaining that his mission was limited to a specific people. In contrast, the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa) was sent to all of mankind.

  • (8) How should we respond to those who oppose the Jama’at’s peaceful teachings?
Huzoor (aba) explained that when responding to those who oppose the Jama’at’s peaceful teachings, one should clarify that Islam’s core teaching, as outlined in the Holy Qur’an, is peace. He stated that permission to fight was only granted in exceptional circumstances when Muslims faced severe oppression, denial of rights and threats to life and even then only as a form of justified self-defence.

Huzoor (aba) emphasised that outside of such conditions and said: “....the Qur’anic teaching is peaceful and we have to spread the message of love, peace and harmony.”  He also encouraged referring others to his addresses, particularly those compiled in the book Pathway to Peace, to help them better understand Islam’s peaceful principles.

  • (9) What is the reality behind the miracles of other religions?
Huzoor (aba) explained that miracles can occur among people of all religions, including atheists, as a means for Allah to make His existence known. The occurrence of miracles among non-Muslims does not negate the truth of Islam, nor does it render other revealed religions false, as all religions originated from Allah. At times, Allah shows signs to guide people towards recognising Him.

Huzoor (aba) further stated that some miracles are genuine manifestations of divine signs, while others may result from psychological effects. Their occurrence serves as a reminder of Allah’s existence rather than as proof of the absolute truth of any particular religious claim.
