The Review of Religions is an English language comparative religious magazine published every month. The magazine was launched in 1902 by the Promised Messiah, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (peace be upon him), pictured right, with the aim of conveying an accurate understanding of Islamic teachings across the English-speaking world and dispel misconceptions held against the faith. It is one of the longest running Islamic periodicals in English.

The magazine covers a range of subjects that include comparative religions, science, philosophy, history, society, politics and contemporary issues. The magazine is now also printed in German.

"Since the articles published in this English magazine were based on the teachings of the Promised Messiah (peace be upon him), within just a few months, the magazine established itself in an unassailable position of eminence and authority. Moreover, it also manifested itself as the sign of the Holy Spirit accompanying the Promised Messiah (peace be upon him) and his spiritual reformation. The eloquence of the articles published surprised many an Englishman. Some even believed the editor to be an English research scholar kept secretly by the Founder of Ahmadiyyat."
