SERMONS for 2026 |

O ye who believe! when the call is made for Prayer on Friday, hasten to the remembrance of Allah, and leave off all business. That is better for you, if only you knew.
(The Holy Qur'an, Ch.62 Verse 10).
According to a Saying of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), this congressional prayer is twenty-five times more blessed than worshipped alone (Bukhari). Another Hadith is "...(He who) offers the Prayers and listens quietly when the imam stands up for sermon, will have his sins forgiven between that Friday and the next." (Bukhari).
