UK NATIONAL PEACE SYMPOSIUMS
The Annual National Peace Symposium, initiated by His Holiness, the Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community was first held in 2003 and is a key event of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community which is held at the largest mosque in Western Europe. His Holiness also delivers the keynote address.
The event promotes a deeper understanding of Islam and other faiths and seeks to inspire a concerted effort for lasting peace. More than 800 guests from across the world attend the unique event including Secretaries of State, parliamentarians, diplomats, faith and civic leaders as well as representatives from numerous charities and faith communities.
Below is a brief introduction to each of the Symposiums and a link to each event brochure which includes the keynote Address by His Holiness and synopsis of speeches made by guest speakers.
Please note that in addition to the UK national peace Symposium, similar but smaller regional Peace Symposium are held throughout the UK hosted by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. Such events will be covered in our news items.
